Armor tail says that it stops all priority moves. Then in the game description it says that it stops all ATTACKING priority moves. So does it stop something like protect, detect, or endure?

Armor Tail only stops positive priority moves, coming from an opponent, that target one of your Pokemon. Things it doesn't stop include:

  • Protect (a self-targeting move)
  • One of the opponents uses Helping Hand on its teammate in douibles (targets the teammate, not you)
  • Farigiraf uses Helping Hand on its own teammate (this is not a move coming from an opponent)
  • An opponent uses Prankster-boosted Instruct to make its teammate repeat its previous move that targeted you, or After You to move its teammate's move next in line (despite the presence of Prankster on the prompting move, the teammate's move is still considered to have 0 priority)
