PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

So far we know a cost, release date, and Raichu, and some leaked megas. I’m curious how much gameplay is to be expected, if there’s going to be any Pokemon added and how they will do that, and if they’re adding more hairstyles or clothes. Basically I’d like a comprehensive list of everything we know so far

Well, there has been a leak for mega heatran in the X dimension, mega darkrai in the Y dimension and mega zeraora representing the letter Z. And mega raichu X and Y have been officially revealed and the DLC has a lot to do with hoopa….. there are multiple rumours of mega hoopa but no big leaks or hints have actually been found as far as I know
But that’s all I know
Ty really has the perfect timing

Confirmed Information

The Mega Dimension DLC will be releasing on December 10th, 2025 for a starting price of 29.99 USD / 39.99 CAD / 24.99 GBP and will contain new story content for players who have completed the main story. The bonus story will feature Hyperspace Lumiose, a parallel world, which Team MZ will investigate with the help of Hoopa and its companion Ansha, a donut chef.

A new featured mechanic involves giving berries for Ansha to create various types of donuts for Hoopa with properties like calories, level boosts, and flavors. It appears that Hoopa's caloric intake will determine the strength and duration of useful and/or necessary bonuses, as a depleting calorie meter is shown during time in Hyperspace. Berries found in Hyperspace will produce better donuts.

Interestingly, footage of Pokemon in Hyperspace are shown to have levels far surpassing level 100, including both wild Pokemon and player Pokemon, and it is implied that donuts will be needed to stand up to these unusually powerful Pokemon. Objectives that give points which fill up a meter can be seen, which implies a similar system to the Z-A Royale, but for exploring areas with wild Pokemon instead of battling trainers.

Korrina returns with a new outfit, and characters from the base game's story appear to be involved in the DLC story, where it is implied that there is Hyperspace poses a threat to Lumiose City. It is currently not known how extensive the new story content will be.

Although additional customization options are not confirmed, the Holo-X and Holo-Y apparel sets are available now with the purchase of DLC.

Confirmed new Mega Pokemon:

  • Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y
  • Mega Chimecho (Psychic/Steel)
  • Mega Baxcalibur

The Chimecho and Baxcalibur lines will become available in the DLC.

Other returning Pokemon seen in trailers:

  • Marowak family (including Alolan forms)
  • Mr. Mime and Mr. Rime family
  • Garganacl line
  • Golisopod line
  • Musharna line
  • Persian and Perrserker family
  • Primeape and Annihilape family
  • Golurk line
  • Corviknight line

Speculated Information

The following information has not been confirmed by official sources and is based on content from datamining and leaks. As a result, they may not be accurate to the final game. There may be additional alleged leaks circulating, but many claims are of dubious credibility.

Dataminer @mattyoukhana_ has claimed that the following Pokemon will be returning in the DLC. Because official content describes Hyperspace Lumiose as being inhabited by Pokemon not normally found in Lumiose City, it is likely that they can be found in the wild there.

In addition, the following Mega Evolutions are allegedly making an appearance:

  • Mega Absol
  • Mega Staraptor
  • Mega Garchomp
  • Mega Lucario
  • Mega Heatran
  • Mega Darkrai
  • Mega Golurk
  • Mega Meowstic
  • Mega Crabominable
  • Mega Golisopod
  • Mega Magearna
  • Mega Zeraora
  • Mega Scovillain
  • Mega Glimmora
  • Mega Tatsugiri

Because Absol, Garchomp, and Lucario already have Mega Evolutions, it is speculated that these may be X and Y evolutions (as with Raichu) or new "Z" evolutions.

Serebii has also provided images of two donut designs inspired by Kyogre and Groudon, which may tie into speculation that their Primal forms will make a return.

Here's everything we know so far:
Retuning Pokemon according to a datamine are (In dex order, if a Pokemon is there, so is it's Mega):
Jigglypuff, Wigglytuff, Zubat, Golbat, Meowth (Kantonian, Alolan, Galarian), Persian (Kantonian & Alolan), Mankey, Primeape, Farfetch'd (Kantonian & Galarian), Cubone, Marowak (Kantonian & Alolan), Mr. Mime (Kantonian & Galarian), Porygon, Crobat, Igglybuff, Qwilfish (Johtoan? Johtonian? & Hisuian), Porygon2, Treecko, Grovyle, Sceptile, Torchic, Combusken, Blaziken, Mudkip, Marshtomp, Swampert, Gulpin, Swalot, Spoink, Grumpig, Zangoose, Seviper, Feebas, Milotic, Kecleon, Chimecho, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Starly, Staravia, Staraptor, Chingling, Mime jr., PorygonZ, Rotom, Heatran, Darkrai, Purrloin, Liepard, Munna, Musharna, Throh, Sawk, Yamask (Unovan & Galarian), Cofagrigus, Foongus, Amoongus, Cryogonal, Golett, Golurk, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Crabrawler, Crabominable, Wimpod, Golisopod, Sandygast, Palossand, Mimikyu, Magearna, Marshadow, Zeraora, Meltan, Melmetal, Rookidee, Corvisquire, Corviknight, Nickit, Thievul, Toxel, Toxtricity, Clobbopus, Grapploct, Perrserker, Sirfetch'd, Mr. Rime, Runerigus, Indeedee, Morpeko, Kleavor, Overqwill, Fidough, Dachsbun, Squawkabilly, Nacli, Naclstack, Garganacl, Charcadet, Armarouge, Ceruledge, Mastiff, Mabostiff, Shroodle, Grafaiai, Capsakid, Scovillain, Tinkatink, Tinkatuff, Tinkaton, Cyclizar, Glimmit, Glimmora, Greavard, Houndstone, Flamigo, Dondozo, Tatsugiri, Annihilape, Frigibax, Arctibax, Baxcalibur, Gimmighoul, Gholdengo.

We are getting Mega Chimecho, Mega Baxcalibur, Mega Raichu X, and Mega Raichu Y.
Others are likely, but those are the confirmed ones.
Some leaked Megas are (And take this with a grain of salt)
Mega Absol Z, Mega Staraptor, Mega Garchomp Z, Mega Lucario Z, Mega Golurk, Mega Meowstic, Mega Crabominable, Mega Golisopod, Mega Magearna, Mega Scovillain, Mega Glimmora, and Mega Tatsugiri. I'm listing these because they were datamined alongside Mega Chimecho and Mega Baxcalibur, which were revealed, so as with the base game leak, this is very likely true.

Mega Darkrai, Mega Heatran, and Mega Zeraora (JUSTICE FOR ZERAORA) are leaked for all having dex entries in the code. Plus most likely Mega Hoopa.

The price will be $29.99 USD. Converting it will make it roughly $42.30 CAD or roughly €26.00. If anyone needs or wants, I can convert it into other currencies.

The release date (assuming all goes well and there are no delays) is Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

Hoopa will play a huge role, letting the player into the Mega Dimension. It will most likely get a Mega because of this, at least in my opinion.

Not sure about clothing.
Hope this is good!

that’s not exactly how currency conversion works. It’s never a one to one. For retail, and currencies fluctuate constantly. The Canadian DLC is $39.99+tax
I’m not sure why you put information that isn’t accurate. I get trying to be useful and trying to fill gaps, but you shouldn’t guess if the information is available
You're right. I should always double-check my work. I honestly thought that was the correct answer. I had never seen any price specifically for Canada, only for the U.S., so I got my friend that lives there to do the conversion to Canadian. Probably wasn't the best idea. I have never watched the news, so I have no idea what the conversion is anymore. I guess that at least means I have to pay less than I thought, though. I'll make sure to fact-check my answers next time. Thanks for pointing it out, though. Probably would've never thought about it.
It would help to link where the information came from, so people don't have to take your word for it.
yeah. It would.
I got the datamine info on returning pokemon from Reddit by user u/vagrantwade, but you can also find it on Pokeos and Twitter (I refuse to call it X)

Leaked Megas from the same Reddit user on the same post, got the "Z" in some of them from a post by u/SnooSprouts3744.

I explained the price, just a mistake on my part.
The release date is right here on DB, but also on many other sources.
And the Hoopa thing is confirmed.

Sorry for all the misunderstandings and stuff, as I said, I'll definitely double-check all my work.
