So, after doing a bit of digging, and analyzing some of the BST scores on some of the Pokémon, the three highest ranking Pokémon are Zygarde, mega Dragonite, and Mega Chandelure, with mega Zygarde being the highest ranked out of the three.

Zygarde is an absolute sweeper with insane base stats and bulk, Dragonite is a very bulky attacker, and has mixed physical attack and special attack options, and chandelure is a special sweeper. Out of these three, Dragonite is as close as it gets to what you described, a (very) bulky attacker and he's got some pretty sweet status options in his movepool, like thunder wave, whirlwind, agility, and a lot more.
These, in my opinion, are the best to use, at least in-game, if not, competitively. They also appear a lot in top tier-rankings and have high BST scores. I hope this helps!
