PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

I know this is borderlining the rules, so I’ll try to define this as clear as possible. When I have time to sit down on my computer, I will make this list myself if someone else doesn’t beat me to it. I plan to make a very nice list and try to keep it up-to-date approximately twice a year.

I’m looking for a list, I’m thinking of like, the top 10 or 20 most valuable Pokemon Cards. By valuable, I’m speaking monetary.

I want two lists. One based off of Raw, and one Graded. The Graded can be by any grading company as long as it is specified.
I want the data to be from Collectr, as it’s one of the most accurate sources for this information. I want the cards to have the link to the Collectr data.

Why I want this information:
I want this list for my personal reference to reference the most valuable cards, to educate myself on how/why the cards are so valuable, and to keep myself informed on the TCG hobby and market, especially with card shows and finance bros joining the hobby. I also believe this could be useful for anyone referencing in the future, or if anyone is curious.

I understand, and I want others to understand, the card market is always fluctuating and therefore this list will not be 100% accurate or up to date. However, I believe this can provide a decent estimate.

In conclusion (answer criteria):
- Two lists, one of Raw, one of Graded.
- Graded cards must be specified the company and grade.
- The data must be sourced from Collectr.
- All of the cards must be linked to Collectr for others to reference and see the actual price as it fluctuates.
- Price of the cards must be listed.
- The date the information was sourced at must be specified.
- If applicable, specify why the card is valuable (eg. “Only 10 exist”)
- Any other sources should be linked and specified where relevant.

Again, I know this is totally insane, so I intend to do this myself. Please let me keep this up lmao. If there’s anything else I should consider, please let me know.

Only collectr? I usually use pricecharting

also, is a list of the most expensive ever bought/sold/listed, or most expensive currently? You can always just filter it to pokemon and cards only, and sort it high to low.
Collectr is more accurate than price charting because price charting doesn’t take into consideration language or condition all the time.

Current market price, not the most ever sold
Yeah I believe you. But pricecharting also does have different profiles for the languages of the cards and average sold listings for all grades for several different grading companies, as well as listings from both TCGplayer and ebay.
