I use this set for DUU paired with a Kilowattrel knowing Discharge and Tailwind.
First, some people might not like the fact that I put Wide Lens on Thundurus-T. However, with the low-accuracy, hard-hitting moves that I have on my Thundurus, it really helps. If you don't want to run Wide Lens, I say you swap out Wildbolt Storm for Thunderbolt and Focus Blast with Flash Cannon, and have Life Orb. But let's look into my own set.
I use Wildbolt Storm as a STAB spread move that hits hard. My own set functions heavily off of Kilowattrel, however, which has Hurricane to fill out Flying Type. Focus Blast is coverage against Rock and Ice. Volt Switch lets it swap if a resistant or a specially defensive Pokemon is sent out by your opponent. And of course, Protect is Protect. I use it while Kilowattrel sets up Tailwind.
I highly recommend using Kilowattrel with Thundurus-T in DUU. Here's an extra set that I use for Kilo:
