I’m playing Pokémon Sword and trying to catch an Inkay, so I used Sweet Scent but instead of lowering its evasiveness it increased it, why did this happen?
One of Inkay's Abilities is Contrary, which reverses the effects of stat changes. In your case, Inkay's Contrary raised its evasiveness instead of lowering it.
