so some time ago I wanted to battle a friend in sv vgc reg f and realised that there is only reg c d g and I in the teambuilder validation place and in the challange a friend format selection place. I understand if it gets removed from the battle a random person place, but I'm pretty sure the formats that cant be found there you can still make teams for and battle your frends in the format.
TLDR; why is vgc reg f removed and if it is still there where can one find it

ok so I heard from a irl friend that its to have more people playing fewer formats so matchmaking time is reduced but I'm not sure about the reliability of this and he also dident state a source and this also doesent explain it dissapearing in the battle a friend place so take this with a massive grain of salt
