I’ve gotten into singles a bit more recently and one thing that I don’t really understand is when I should set up hazards. I feel like I should set them up when I can because people who are way better than me are always talking about how broken hazards are. The thing is I find when I set hazards up my opponent ends up getting a free switch or getting a ton of free damage and then either wins the game or puts me in a really bad spot. Idk if format really matters for something but I’m playing nat dex.
