PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

My team us pretty niche and gimmick with role play and such and my trick room setter is aromatise with helping hand so I want a Pokemon that doesn't rely on mega, stat buffs and ability changes - one thing is that it cannot be weak to ghost.
scrolling through showdown dex I only really found bulky steel types (steelix, aggron) and offensive (archaludon, kingambit). stat wise just physically tanky but could kill up to 2 Pokemon, and i'm not running any weather.

Torcoal is great because sun boosted eruption. Otherwise things like Kingabit are ok but most teams use megas as their trick room sweeper because megas have the stats to sweep in trick room.
Vibes asked for physical not spiecial torcoal is irrelevant. I would recommend mega crabominable but since you wanted non mega I recommend rhyperior or Conkelldur as they have a whopping 140 Atk but Conkelldur doesn’t have flame orb. (Because it’s not in the game yet) So I would probably use Rhyperior.
Why do you want a physical Trick room sweeper anyway? Physical trick room sweepers are generally not great because they get intimated to death. That then forces you to switch which is not something you want to in trick room.

I personally feel that the other answer misses a couple of really important Pokemon and most of the mons they listed are rather lack luster as trick room attackers so I’m going to post my own answer.

Kingambit
This thing is great because it’s one the few physical attackers that doesn't get destroyed by intimidate. It also has a nice offensive typing that can hit things like Sylveon, Sinitcha and Basculegion.

Hisuian Avalugg
Ice is a nice offensive type and Rock kills Charizard. You also a get body press to kill Inciniroar and wide guard to counter all the powerful spread moves in the meta. Study is also a great ability that functions like a sash without using up your focus sash.

Hisuian Dicidueye
There have been a couple teems that have had great success with this thing so thats why it’s here. Grass Fighting is a really nice type into rain teams and scrappy makes you immune to intimidate. Scrappy also lets you hit Ghouldengo for super effective damage which is another nice bonus.

Kangaskan
Kang is probably the best trick room physical attacker on this list. Fake out lets you safely set trick room and scrappy last resort is a move that nothing wants to take and can force your opponent to make some hard reads if they want to stay in the game.

like RTG said, gambit is a good option, trick room allows you move first with iron head, and not to have to rely on sucker punch to move first, also it resists ghost
excadrill could work, its speed is on the low side and the attack stat is pretty good
houndstone would be good but its weak to ghost sooo
aggron works, but I think gambit is just a better option...
tyranitar wouldent be a bad option, as long as you dont mind sandstorm chip, it resists ghost, is a good trick room attacker and is rlly bulky
avalugg could also work, espc hisui avalugg since it has strong jaw and could get buffed from sandstorm from tyranitar if you use both of them
azumaril has huge power, doubling its attack stat and is slow
concoldurr even without flame orb can still run sheer force or iron fist which while not the best can still be run as its attack stat is monstrous
machamp maybe? I dont know of a reason you would want to use machamp but it seems usable?
flareon is well uh slow and has a fast attack stat, no other reason to use it...
beartic basically has no ability unless you have a way to set snow, other than that its quite all right
tldr: some good ones are kingambit, excadrill, tyranitar, hisuian avalugg, concoldurr and maybe azumarill

Beartic is CIR at home. Actually nvm, that's an insult to CIR.
whats cir
Calyrex ice rider
noted with thanks
Flareon is really bad because it has no bulk and its out classed by Torcoal in every way.
Tyranitar is also not great because it is out classed by Avalugg Hisui. Concoldurr works but is out classed by Dicidueye Hisui because Dicidueye gets scrappy. Azumarill has a really hard time into Char Y and it cant deal with intimidate do it’s also bad.
sorry for not giving you best answer yours is still good but R's is more clearer and such.
np, i kinda just went through the showdown mons and put all the mons that were slow and had high attack stats xd
his is better anyway
