Life Orb and Jump Kick/High Jump Kick

If you miss and crash, you damage damage yourself by half the amount of damage the opponent would take. Does Life Orb power also included?

you only take Life orb damage for successful attacks.

so whenever you miss or anything, it doesn't damage you.

and also since hi jump kick doesn't go off of power, but off of a straight up 50% of your health, no, it will not add to your damage, if you miss you'll take 50% + whatever the opponent does to you that turn
