Baton Pass/Contrary question.

Question

If I raise stats and pass them, will a Contrary Serperior negate the stats?

If my question is confusing, here's an example:

Ninjask stalls its Speed Boost and passes to a Contrary Serperior
Will Serperior lose stages of speed because of reversing the passed Speed Boost?

Serperior will gain the speed boosts. Contrary reverses stat changes that happen to the Pokemon with Contrary stats that have already been changed will not be effected. Source
