Destiny Bond problem

Question

I know that Destiny bond only takes effect in the same turn it is used. What if the user of destiny bond goes last? Will it not work or does it stay in effect for the current teurn afetr the pokemon uses destiny bond? PLZ answer uncle pika!
I'll give you my test subject if you answer since i wont need him.

Tested many Times, and if that happens, it would make your opponent faint on the next Turn.

I have a question too, what if the user of destiny bond have a timer of death from perish song, then he uses destiny bond on his opponent, if he dies on perish song while he uses destiny bond, will his enemy die too?
