Wobbuffet is said to be an useless pokemon, but I think it is exciting to use a wobbuffet in battles. Sometimes it can defeat a strong pokemon.
I raise my wobbuffet having these moves:
- encore: you're sure that what move the foe will use in next turn
- destiny bond
- counter
- mirror coat
And in multi-battle, I let it go first with a pokemon having perish song.

Useless Pokemon? Who said that.
Wobbufet is a great Pokemon as it traps the opponents and forces them to atk, which is a problem if they don't have boosts.
If you can easly predict a move, for example scald from politoed you can easyly use mirror coat.
Unfortunally wobbufet can not do much else, it's movepool is small but workable, but it's great ability to take hits then hit back twice as hard is great.
Your strategy could work but I doubt it would survive 3 turns of possibly 6 moves on him.

I use him for a safe switch in, for example heatran is weak to the foes hippowdons e-quake you can switch into wobbufet take the hit, then encore so you can switch into a Pokemon that may be weak to its ice fang and yet resists ground.

I don't let my wobbuffet take six attack moves! I switch it when the effect of perish song counts to 1 turn ( opponent can't still switch at that time)
Anyway, your answer has given me more knowledge, so I vote you. Thanks!

How I would do it is get wobbuffet's speed and defense really high and use destiny bond against a very strong Pokemon, then when they use a very strong move use encore and then attack with a different Pokemon (again-high defense), and do your best to defeat it. Only do this if you are willing to let your wobuffet faint quickly.

@.@!
Wobuffet has high speed and defend for what? It uses counter and mirror coat so that it always attack after the foe. And if you want to use destiny bond, you don't need speed too high, because your wobbuffet can live after two hits thanks to its high hp.
defend stats should be low so that it takes more damage and return more damage ( I think so).
Anyway, I got something new from your answer. Thanks!
well that strategy always works for me but it may not be your battling style... :))
