In most cases, healing a Pokémon of status will nullify its Guts boost. However, there is one exception.

In Generations III and IV, if a Pokémon with Guts is frozen, and it uses a move that thaws it out, that move will receive the Guts boost. This only applies on the turn the Pokémon thaws.
