How do you ge that pokeball in pinwheel forest?

theres a place wheres that has water in pinwheel forest
near the water there is a poke ball
I am trying to get it but I don't know how to

You first need surf. Make your way through the grass and find an open spot to enter the water. Surf your way up to the item and collect it. Then surf back and leave Pinwheel forest.

um I cant get to it , it is not surrounded by any water at all. the trees are blocking the path
