In Generations III and IV, Future Sight (along with Beat Up and Doom Desire) bypasses Wonder Guard, as it deals typeless damage. Starting in Generation V, these moves deal typed damage and thus do not ignore Wonder Guard.

It does hit. Future Sight does not take into account the target's type, for instance, it can still hit an umbreon despite his being a dark type.
