Extra privileges, like voting and posting on walls, are unlocked using points. If you aren't sure how the points system works, make sure to read about that before continuing here.

The amount of points required to get each privilege changes based on which section you're on. The table below provides the details. There are NO requirements for basic posting actions e.g. asking and answering questions.

Point requirement table

You will also skip the "checked and approved" message that appears on your posts once you pass 25 points in the relevant section. This will cause your posts to become public immediately. However, on the main section, you need 200 points to skip the prompt when posting an answer on an old question.

To be clear: If you earn an extra privilege on one section, you won't be able to use it on the other sections until you reach the points requirement in those sections as well. So, you can vote on the main section if you have 30 points there, but that doesn't mean you'll be able to vote on Meta if you have only 20 Meta points.

To access the chat room, you need a registered account with a confirmed email. To send messages in the chat, you need at least 30 points in the main section. Points don't award any privileges in the chat room.

Some privileges are restricted to users who have been promoted, including experts, editors and moderators. Quality contributors receive promotions based upon community and staff input. This page explains how the staff team on PokeBase works.

After how long does a post become old?
I'd approximate two weeks, but I'm not exactly sure.
How did you make a table like that?
