Thats the "Favorite Users" Star. Its a new addition Pokemaster has added that allows us to quickly and easily find users that we select.
The same for questions; if there is a question you really like, you click that and it add's to your favorites. You can view your favorites by clicking on "My accounts" and near the top, it has a link that leads you to your favorite users and favorite questions.
