Is there something wrong on the steel type page?

It says on the steel how Steel types were first introduced in second Generation here is the sentence:The Steel type was introduced in the second generation of Pokemon games.
But, what about magnemite, and megneton, there Steel and electric, so is this a mistake?

There is nothing wrong with the steel page. Steels were introduced second generation. Magnemite and magneton were initially only electric type in first generation and they were given a secondary steel typing second generation so this is not an error.
