Why can’t I make a picture on my questions and answers?

I know this question was already asked but it didn't work when I tried to do what they said! When I tried, it said that my answer was longer than 8,000 characters. So can someone try to explain it as best as they could?

Find a picture, right click and copy the picture's image URL, then go to your answer and press "Ctrl" and "G" at the same time, and paste the image URL you copied and press enter.

If it says your answer has more than 8000 characters, you need to shorten it because 8000 characters is the limit.
