Suggestion : Chat requires points

Question

We have a few people who abuse a free chat room. Many people have been here for a year but have asked no questions. Something like 30 points would be sufficiant

What's wrong with people coming on just to chat with other people? I find it fine, even good that people like to chat.

Basically, the chat room is supposed to be a free room for talking, and there isn't anything wrong with users doing little else as long as their not just spamming the chat. Read the full answer if you want full details
