Suggestion: Allow authority to remove chat posts.

Question

This would be nice so authority can stop the lovely trolls that spam chat, remove chat messages not needed, or remove too personal things. It would be really nice, so could you please try to give authority the ability to remove chat messages?

I personally think that this is unnecessary.  The same goal is accomplished by kicking them from the chat.

True, but spammers can clog chat, and being able to remove them would be nice. Also, if things get super dramatic, auth could remove the messages so new users don't get sucked into it.

I also don't think that this would help much at all. If messages have to be deleted individually, they'll probably be sent faster than they can be deleted.

I think this would be good for slurs and personal info. It’s a pain having to spam/flood chat to hide something so this would be handy.
