Do the initial 20 points vanish after a while?

Hello people,
I'm asking this because I know I had, in the Q&A segment, 274 points until yesterday.
Today I have 254, yet 0 (zero) down votes.

So I'm wondering if the points that are given to you when you sign up eventually go away.

Can anybody help me out?

I dont think so.I think 1 of your ans was best ans and it have got hidden or the best ans was removed but ans is still there.

No, the 20 points will never vanish as long as you don't get any downvotes or anything. You lost points because either someone unBAed one of your answers in exchange for another answer, or a question got hidden with a BA/Votes on your answer.
