It becomes yellow and fades after 10 seconds. It doesn't happen on comments.

I'm pretty sure it was just an update and Pokemaster intended for it to happen.
Although I kind of wish that it wasn't yellow. Red and Blue were both better games.

As mentioned above, this is a recent addition to the site. It occurs when you follow a direct link to a post, so you can see exactly which one it is. (The webpage snaps to it automatically so it's not hard to tell, but it's still a nice touch.) Also, it does happen on comments. Open this link in a new tab and see for yourself.

I am not sure why you are seeing it for that long. It only appears very briefly for me.

Just one minor addition re "The webpage snaps to it automatically so
it's not hard to tell, but it's still a nice touch." This isn't always
the case when the comment/answer is at the bottom of the page. If
there are a bunch of comments you don't know exactly which one the
link was for. So the yellow colour helps.

Slow internet probably.
Yay I love when my stuff gets linked to.
Still, even with slow Internet it shouldn't be 10 seconds... He probably forgot how long 10 seconds actually is xD
