I have clicked resend email and have checked that the email was correct I have not been sent any email confirmation.

Sorry, just found out that Hotmail and Outlook are blocking our emails for spam (not from us, from someone else using the same IP in our email service). I'm just getting them to look into it now, it should be fixed by tomorrow so you can use the link Fizz posted then to resend the confirmation email.

Update: should now be fixed.

so who has a outlook email needs to do what? use another email service?
You don't need to do anything. It states in the answer the issue will be resolved by Outlook in due time.
The issue with Hotmail/Outlook is now resolved.
If you've already confirmed your email address you don't need to do anything.
If you recently signed up and did not receive a confirmation email then click the link in my answer, enter your email address and you should get the confirmation email.

Similar issues with the email confirmation system have been reported in the past. I'm not a developer for this site nor its software, so I'm not in a position to address the precise issue you've experienced here.

However, one option that has worked for others before is re-sending the link through the page linked here. If you've already tried this, or you try it and it fails, let us know.

As the cliche goes, make sure to check your junk mail as well, as your inbox may have sent the message there inadvertently.
