Why is my account having trouble saving when I try to paste something on to it?

Question

It keeps showing a screen with this message when I try to paste a ribbon on my wall.

A Question2Answer database query failed when generating this page.

A full description of the failure is available in the web server's error log file.

Just in case this has anything to do with the problem, the ribbon I'm trying to post is:

I think it must be the character limit as Stephwheel8 said. I've just made a change that will tell you if you exceeded the limit, let me know if that fixes the problem - i.e. it gives you a red message like "Maximum length is 8000 characters", in which case put in fewer characters!

The error screen you are describing seems to be the same as the one I have gotten before, when trying to update my profile.

While I do not know for certain, this is what I think is going on:
You have reached the character limit.

I was indeed able to fix this problem by deleting some (arguably) unnecessary text.

The character limit is 8,000. Try copy+pasting your entire About Me into someplace where you can see how many characters there are (such as Google Docs).
