PSA: Why can’t I edit my profile or use the chatroom anymore?

Question

Due to recent issues with spam/troll accounts, Pokemaster has made a variety of changes to the site, including the following new points requirements:

1. To send messages in the chat room, you need at least 30 points on the main section. Points from Meta and RMT are not considered.
2. To edit your profile via the main section, you need at least 102 points. This can be circumvented by editing your profile on Meta or RMT instead.

Please feel free to contact Silver (or the other mods) if you're having trouble getting the required points. We can help you improve your posts and find questions that need new answers.

The mods will be working with Pokemaster to see if we can solve the issues without disturbing legitimate users with good intentions.

It's really sad to see how badly bots and such are inflicting the internet as it is, though it's nice to see that this site is still up and running.
