Wow thanks for the info! I'll probably be working on it tonight cause I'll be in an airport for three hours. I think nearly everything there is more efficient than Catch Combos.

I haven't played Scarlet and Violet so I can't speak to the "brokenness" of Sparkling Power sandwiches, but I do know that odds can get as high as 1/512, and if you combine it with a type specific sandwich, you can potentially isolate Pokemon, even if they are only 1% spawns. However, from what I can see in encounter tables, most Pokemon are in the same region as at least 1-2 other Pokemon that share the same type. For example Dragonair, before I remembered Friend Safari, (also 1/512) I noticed Dragonair can be found at Casseroya Lake, but so can I think three other dragon types. So is there a way to isolate Dragonair in that case? And would it be faster than Friend Safari?

Catch Combos odds in LGPE get up to 1/293. It is an incredibly easy shiny hunting method, (you don't even have to move once you get your chain to 31) but unfortunately, it only is relevant to the first 140 or so Pokemon. I am sure Sparkling Power Sandwiches will come up a lot more now.

Also, do you know if the encounter table and location data for Scarlet and Violet is accurate now on this site?
