True -- this is so far a fairly rough idea, I haven't thought of all the details yet. The tag might be unnecessary, but making them more official/formal could also help with quality (like msq and crq).

I was thinking things like:
* What is the most efficient way to complete your Pokedex in x game?
* What are the best strategies/Pokemon to defeat Cynthia in BDSP?
* What is the fastest way to level up in x game?

And so on and so forth. I think these need another tag in order to differentiate them from lower-quality questions (though we may be able to repurpose high-traffic questions for these guides).

In theory a tag shouldn't put a qualified person off from writing an answer. If the answer isn't as good as it could be, others can feel free to add their thoughts to improve it.

I'll make the thread, cheers. To clarify, should I make one asking for opinions on the idea or one announcing the creation of the guide questions/tag?

Hey Fizz, I was planning on posting to META about theoretical "guide questions". They would be comprehensive guides written by knowledgeable users organised under an exclusive tag. Any objections/comments before I write the thread?
