Your cold resistance seems godly, but I guess you just get used it. After all 40 degree celsius weather is normal to me. But I much prefer the cold over the heat. It's much more beautiful, and much more fun.

Your neighbors seem like characters from a comedy sitcom. You live in one weird neighborhood, that's for sure. Drinking and drugs are pretty common in many parts of the world for some reason, and the inebriated and high people are bound to make a fool of themselves. And then there are the sociopaths and the anti-socials. I know a few, to be honest. Though setting your house on fire is a whole new level.
