But, Pokémon moves aren’t final fantasy magic. They’re Pokémon moves, so any sort of magic or armor or crap that ignores magic won’t ignore Pokémon moves. If you argue that Pokémon moves are magical, they’re not, it’s more like a snake’s venom.

Pretty much all Kyogre would have to do is land a sheer cold and gau would be dead. Thunder wave would also effectively cripple gau, as a paralyzed human being is pretty much entirely crippled. Body slam could do this too, as well as dealing damage.


Lore wise, Primal Kyogre obliterates gau in every aspect and it’s not even debatable that primal Kyogre would annihilate him.
