I read your about me, and my opinion is that you should leave your possessive friend. She doesn't seem like a very good friend at all to me, and yeah, she could change, but she might not. Maybe you should give it some time, but if all she's doing is hurting friendships, she doesn't deserve friendship.

That might've sounded a bit harsh, but that's my opinion on the matter. But you can do whatever you'd like, and I hope it works out!

I am posting this here because I need to get it out and hear your opinions if you want to share them because I don't know what to do and I know you all care. This exact same thing happened to me, for about 1 1/2 years, but I gave her a lot of second chances and now she is one of my best friends in the entire world. I think you should give it some time and see if she turns around :)

I'd say you should try to repair the friendship, but it does sound quite toxic. If worst comes to worst, you should probably sever the friendship and spend time with friends that care more.

You obviously don't have to listen to that. Just trying to help a bit :)
