Actually, it's cool liquid. While coffee grounds, which are ground-up coffee beans, are needed for actual coffee, nobody wants to drink coffee grounds (unless they're high or something). That's why coffee doesn't typically contain coffee grounds unless somebody did a poor job. So it's not beans, or even ground-up beans.
