Hey guys. Mew here. I've got a new team I made recently, and it's been working quite well. I've gone undefeated in 25 battles, half of the opponents ragequitting, usually. It's a 4drag2mag team. For those of you who don't know, a 4drag2mag team is a team of 4 Dragon type Pokemon with Magneton and Magnezone. The team works quite simply: Magneton and Magnezone clear all the Steel types that bother my Dragons, and I start sweeping with them. So, if you are answering...keep it a 4drag2mag :P

Team preview:

Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers

Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

  • Dragon Dance
  • Dragon Claw
  • Fire Punch
  • ExtremeSpeed

Dragonite is one of my main sweepers on this team, and a quite dangerous one too. Boasting base 134 Attack and access to Dragon Dance, you can't mess with him. Multiscale is a godsend, allowing it to take Dragon and Ice moves easily, with Multiscale halving the damage. EVs give maximum physical sweeping capabilities and an HP number that is divisible by 4 to stop Stealth Rock from killing Dragonite off in 4 switchins. Jolly Nature is here to outspeed things. Mainly some Rotom-W that try outrunning me with HP Ice in their arsenal. Dragon Dance is my main boosting move, bolstering my Attack and Speed, turning it into a dangerous sweeper. Dragon Claw is preferred over Outrage as my main STAB, due to it not confusing me. Fire Punch roasts Steel Pokemon trying to switch in on Dragon Claw, while ExtremeSpeed provides some needed priority on this team, which can easily be screwed my Mamoswine.

Salamence (F) @ Choice Scarf

Trait: Moxie
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)

  • Outrage
  • Dragon Claw
  • Earthquake
  • Fire Blast

You probably faced this before. This thing becomes extremely dangerous once Moxie starts heating up. This guys is one of the best Choice Scarf users, mainly due to Moxie. EVs give physical sweeping potential as well as a point in SAtk that is helpful for 2 reasons:

  • Ups my SAtk by a bit. You never know if that 1 point may come in handy.
  • Allows me to switch into Stealth Rock 5 times before fainting.

Naive Nature helps me Speed tie with other Scarfed base 100's. Anyway, to the moves. Outrage is 180 base power STAB that rips through teams after losing their Steel type. This is used when I successfully remove the opposing Steel type via Dragonite's Fire Punch, this guy's Fire Blast, Latios' Hidden Power Fire, and my Magnezone/ton's HP Fire. Dragon Claw is my alternative STAB when I'm trying to be cautious and know that my opponent still has a Steel alive. Fire Blast roasts the Steel Pokemon that I predict coming in, common ones being Ferrothorn and Forretress, which are both 2OHKO'ed by it. Earthquake is coverage, and hits Steels also.

Magnezone @ Leftovers

Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 36 HP / 252 SAtk / 220 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

  • Substitute
  • Charge Beam
  • Thunderbolt
  • Hidden Power [Fire]

Magnezone is my Steel trapper and remover. Steel type Pokemon can't really do anything when they're trapped, with the exception of Skarmory (who can Roar / Whirlwind me out) and Heatran. Magnet Pull traps them Steels hard. Substitute helps me avoid status and Leech Seed from Ferrothorn. Charge Beam offers a way of boosting while the Steels are trapped, and helps me KO Ferrothorn and Forretress HP Fire later on. Thunderbolt is STAB, and zaps Skarmory. Hidden Power [Fire] roasts tons Steels, barring Heatran, and scores massive damage, especially after a few Charge Beams.

Magneton @ Choice Scarf

Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

  • Thunderbolt
  • Flash Cannon
  • Hidden Power [Fire]
  • Volt Switch

Magneton is one of those few Pokemon that is faster than its evolution. This extra Speed helps it come an excellent Choice Scarf user, hitting 390+ Speed. Once again, it traps Seels via Magnet Pull. Thunderbolt is STAB that hits Skarmory. Flash Cannon is STAB, and offers me something to hit Dugtrio with when I'm trapped. Hidden Power [Fire], as you know from Magnezone's description, if you read it, roasts Steels. Volt Switch is also STAB, and allows me to Scout.

Latios (M) @ Choice Specs

Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

  • Dragon Pulse
  • Surf
  • Psyshock
  • Hidden Power [Fire]

I needed a Special Dragon, and Latios seemed perfect for me. I decided I had enough Choice Scarf users, and opted for a Choice Specs set for raw power. I ran Timid and max Speed and Special Attack to outspeed as much as possible and hitting as hard as possible. Dragon Pulse is my main STAB and deals consistent damage, which is why I prefer it over Draco Meteor. Surf hits Heatran, who can switch in on one of my Dragon Pulses and take it like a boss. Psyshock nails the annoying, idiotic, stupid, fat, and forever virgin pink blobs known as Chansey and Blissey on their weaker Defense, and well as nailing Tentacruel, another Special wall that can tank Dragon Pulses. Hidden Power Fire nails Steel types that switch on to Dragon Pulse.

Kingdra (F) @ Chesto Berry

Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

  • Dragon Dance
  • Outrage
  • Waterfall
  • Rest

I decided have too big of an Ice weakness while using 4drag2mag wasn't a good idea, and Kingdra was one Pokemon that fit the criteria. This is my first time using Chesto Rest Kingdra, and I must admit, it's pretty good. I'm running a Dragon Dance set here. EVs give max Attack and Speed, and Jolly is here to increase speed, just to be on the safe side. Also, 4 SDef EVs are placed to stop Genesect from getting a Special Attack boost. Dragon Dance boosts my Attack and Speed, and helps me sweep better. Outrage is my main STAB, and hits unresisted after I remove the Steels from play. Waterfall is STAB, and forms a nice combination with Outrage, and is resisted by Shedinja and Empoleon. The flinch chance, if I get it, is awesome. Rest heals my status and my HP, waking up with Chesto Berry and allows me to start wrecking some teams.

Been wondering when somone would post one of these, thought about making one but I never got around to it.
You got a terrible Ice weakness, plus a Ground weakness.
It's a team with 4 Dragons and 2 Steel/Electrics. Thanks for pointing out the obvious.
MAMOSWINE. Most Anti-Metagame Pokemon of OU at this point of time. Good team!
