Sure I'm not moving on, but that doesn't mean the team was bad. No, the team was great. Rather, it was the trainer who failed. Since I failed to add the clauses that are to be used, I was battled without the Species Clause active and lost the first battle. I was planning to let Haley move on since I must admit my mistakes and be punished for them. But I decided to see how I would have done without that error on my part. It won the next two battles.

Kyogre @ Water Gem

Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Water Spout
- Protect
- Surf
- Ice Beam

Water Spout hits both foes and with help from Water Gem it's going to do some damage. Of course, when I get low on health I have to start using Surf. Ice Beam is to hit Dragon types hard. Protect is to get past Fake Out and also allow my teammates to hit the foe if it is a danger to Kyogre.

Tornadus (M) @ Focus Sash

Trait: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hurricane
- Tailwind
- Taunt
- Grass Knot

Tailwind user mainly. This makes Kyogre, Palkia, Mewtwo, and Tornadus itself into incredibly fast Pokemon. Hurricane gets STAB, has a good chance to confuse, and is 100% accurate thanks to Kyogre's Drizzle. Taunt is to stop Trick Room and Protect, as well as any other non-attacking moves. Grass Knot is for a powerful hit on Gastrodon, Quagsire, and Swampert. Focus Sash allows it to attack after having used Taunt/Tailwind.

Palkia @ Lustrous Orb

Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Aura Sphere
- Spacial Rend
- Surf
- Thunder

Aura Sphere is coverage. Mainly for Ferrothorn. It is also useful against people who use Moody, Double Team, Minimize, or an accuracy lowering move. Sure these moves aren't good in Doubles, but I can expect some people with less knowledge of doubles to use them. Spacial Rend is STAB. Surf is also STAB and can hit all foes. Thunder is coverage and becomes 100% accurate in Rain. Lustrous Orb is to make Spacial Rend and Surf more powerful.

Mewtwo @ Life Orb

Trait: Pressure
EVs: 88 HP / 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 164 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Psystrike
- Protect
- Shadow Ball
- Ice Beam

My coverage Pokemon. I wish it has Unnerve released, as that is a great ability for it. Psystrike is STAB that takes down two of the otherwise counters to this team: Chansey and Blissey. Protect is to avoid Fake Out, wait a turn to allow my teammates to take down a threat, and to avoid Surf. Shadow Ball and Ice Beam are coverage. EVs give me enough Speed with Tailwind to outspeed Deoxys-S. I thought that was a good enough Speed, so I put the rest into Special Attack and bulk.

**Kyogre:**

I feared dis guy. I suggest running a specs and replace protect with Thunder, but the set looks good

**Tornadus:**

Too paranoid about threats :P

I see a better tailwind user for that approach, DNite :D

Dragonite (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Multi-Scale
EVs: 216 HP / 40 Def / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Tailwind
- Surf / Thunder
- Roost
- Hurricane

(This your own set with a minor change)

Dnite is overall bulkier and has better Rain support! Tailwind adds the speed you want. Surf or Thunder give you rain boost. Roost adds a heal boost, which is always cool, and slightly neutralizes ice weakness. Hurricane gives rain + stab boost

Zapdos is also another option

**Palkia:**

Stone edge would be more preferable than surf. It provides much coverage. Equake can also be used over Thunder to give an unexpected sweep, and I would switch Hp to def or sdef.

**Mewtwo:**

sexy enough

- Haley :D
Wait, why Stone Edge over STAB? :P
Specs isn't the greatest in Doubles because getting stuck in a move kind of sucks. Especially a Water type attack where it is so easy to get in a Storm Drain/Water Absorb user on it. And the forced switch pretty much dooms the guy who I send in.

Tornadus is used for priority Tailwind. This allows Kyogre to hit first, hopefully KOing the foes with Water Spout before they can make a move. Concentrated attacks by Ubers in Doubles (where two hits a turn will bypass Multiscale) will mean the end of Dragonite before I can get up Tailwind. And Tornadus is not me being paranoid abou threats. Gastrodon/Quagsire/Swampert do cause trouble for a Rain team. And Trick Room is very popular in Double battles.

Stone Edge and Earthquake are physical. Surf is STAB that hits multiple foes. And Thunder is coverage needed against Water types.
