Pokémon Rate My Team

So as you all may know, I've taken a break from the DB. Whilst I was gone, I haven't stopped making teams, some unsuccessful, some rather successful (like this one). I've spent a lot of time laddering on PS main, in OU and NU, both have been fun. I'm happy to say this team has peaked #9 on Showdown Main. There isn't much to say about the team in general. Just that it's not real heavily offensive. It mainly wears down the opponent enough to where I can sweep with Emboar, or Braviary. Hope you enjoy. ت

Golem @ Leftovers

Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 92 HP / 252 Atk / 164 Spd
Adamant Nature

  • Stealth Rock
  • Earthquake
  • Rock Blast
  • Sucker Punch

Golem is one of the most reliable stealth rockers in the meta. His great Attack
stat gives him offensive pressure as well as decent defenses. Stealth Rock for
obvious reasons, break sawk's sturdy. Also paired with Leftovers allows me to
be able to switch in with stealth rocks on the field, and maintain my sturdy
Earthquake main STAB, I believe every team needs to have a Pokemon with
earthquake since it's so easily spamable. Rock Blast breaks subs so I'm not
setup fodder. And lastly you have to have Sucker Punch on this set to get kills
since this thing is rather slow. In the end, standard Golem, you've seen it before.

Braviary @ Leftovers

Trait: Defiant
EVs: 252 HP / 176 SDef / 80 Spd
Careful Nature

  • Substitute
  • Roost
  • Bulk Up
  • Brave Bird

KACAW! KACAW! Hi there, meet my friend SubBU Braviary, the threat. Thanks
BW2 for giving this thing roost. The given EV spread also always prevents
Amoonguss's Sludge Bomb and Alomomola's Scald from OHKO and 2HKOing
Braviary's Substitute. Also allows me to get some nice boosts. Roost keeps me
at a respective HP amount, and gets rid of that pesky Flying typing so I can take
Rock attacks (if I have enough boosts) and Ice attacks. Bulk Up obviously for
boosting. And lastly Brave Bird You can't have BRAViary without Brave Bird
strong STAB and powerful at +6.

Skuntank @ Black Sludge

Trait: Aftermath
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature

  • Poison Jab
  • Taunt
  • Pursuit
  • Sucker Punch

*Poison Jab is much much much better than Crunch in my experience, as mono
Dark coverage is pretty mediocre and Poison Jab lets me do things like KO an
Absol at ±60% and 2HKO Emboar on the switch-in. Taunt puts pressure on
Musharna with Pursuit if it tries to switch out, and Sucker Punch if it's forced to
attack with Signal Beam.*

Musharna @ Rocky Helmet

Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 240 HP / 248 Def / 20 Spe
Bold Nature

  • Calm Mind
  • Signal Beam
  • Psychic
  • Moonlight

Enough speed EVs to out speed standard Musharna, and start Calm Mind'ing up
first. Signal Beam is so I'm not walled by Absol, or Skuntank. Psychic is my main
STAB and is for fighting types (ie: sawk, gurgurr, throh). You may have noticed I
have rocky helmet, it's there because along with the little damage you do to
Musharna, you'll be doing damage to yourself.Moonlight is enough recovery
instead of leftovers, which it hopefully won't come down to.

Emboar (M) @ Choice Scarf

Trait: Reckless
Evs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)

  • Flare Blitz
  • Head Smash
  • Wild Charge
  • Hammer Arm

Emboar my scarfer, I have to be weary of Scarf Rotom-S because I don't want
Musharna getting tricked a scarf, and I don't want Emboar getting hit with an Air
Slash. Flare Blitz is my main STAB and easily spamable and if SR'S are up
Musharna better think twice before switching in. Or it will be 2HKO'd. Head
Smash
is for predicting Rotom-S/F, Braviary, Etc. Wild Charge one word
ALOMOMOLA! and Hammer Arm is just coverage. Standard scarf set.

Misdreavus (F) @ Eviolite

Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 188 Def / 44 Spd / 24 Sdef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)

  • Heal Bell
  • Will-o-wisp
  • Shadow Ball
  • Pain Split

Misdreavus is a vital member of this team. I run 44 Speed EVs to out speed
standard SubBU braviary, since that thing is menacing, I'll just need to break it's
substitute and continue to Will-o-Wisp him. Then I use Heal Bell to keep my
team alive and unburdened. A Toxic'd musharna is no good, as well as a
Paralyzed ScarfBoar. Shadow Ball is my main STAB. And Ofc Pain Split is my
only reliable recovery. Misdreavus's main role is to spin block and block fighting
moves. Sawk and Zangoose are scary!

Great team! Nice to see you again!
Riles! Nice to see you.
Anyway as you know I'm no expert on anything to do with Nu but personally I would Run lefties on Mush as I can see misdrevious doing a similar job forcing them out with w.o.w or even hitting them with it if that's the case. I can just see lefties being more helpful for tanking special hits.
iNom lets go Im ready! Kiai
Cool. I'll be on hopefully for the next hour or so, if not... hopefully we can battle tomorrow. :D
Yep, I battled you, and I'm happy you took Stunfisk off.
This is a totally different team...
It's looks the same e.e Wait, no, my bad xD
I really like this team it works similar to Zebraiken*s but is taking a different approach.
Yeah that was the inspiration, not like you all couldn't see the similarity. Although currently I'm trying to find a replacement for Misdreavus. Testing some stuff.
Obviously Haunter isn't as bulky but you could try that out.
Maybe it could pull off a sub split set idk I have never used a defensive set.
But its typing means all Status that really is a threat is covered.
Golem can take T-waves, Emboar can take W.o.W and Toxic is no problem for Gastly.
Sporemoongus doesn't threat Mush does it? lol what do i know.
The only problem i could see the team facing is Dunsprance as you only have one reliable counter in Emboar and you don't want to switch in on a body slam which is probably a 2hko as well as the paralysis.
The bird could work as a good counter but after rocks/sub damage you will be forced to roost and Dunsprance can Body Slam away.
Loosing Misdrevious will result in a loss in Normal counters and Spin Blocker.

Muy bien, Riles, muy bien. I love this team so much. Too bad Spoink isn't here, he would've rated this before me. :P So, like I said, this looks really awesome, and it's so good that my suggestions are pretty damn minor, so this rate will be short and sweet.

On Golem, beh, nothing to say. Just one thing: Try Ground Gem. It's one thing I'm trying on Golem currently, and it's awesome.

Nothing to say on Braviary. Literally.

Skuntank is perfect, though I've also been trying Air Balloon instead of Black Sludge. Allows you to succesfully trap every Ghost and Psychic types in NU, even Colbur Berry Golurk.

I prefer Lefties on Musharna, but it's your choice. He's perfect.

Why am I rating this =-= No suggestions for Emboar.

God, no suggestions here either.

So, like I said, my suggestions are pretty damn minor, but they can be helpful.

I'll add more to it if I find other problems.
Custap Berry isn't released yet...
It will be on 12/14.
I've tested it with some guy on PS!, MewMew.
