Well, Genesect had to move to Ubers, so now that leaves a big hole in my team. It was pretty hard to replace it, but finally I chose Ferrothorn.
___
Politoed (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Toxic
- Protect
Original Politoed that I always use. Ice Beam for coverage, Surf for STAB, Toxic and Protect for stall.
Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 196 HP / 60 Def / 252 SAtk
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Water Pulse
- Calm Mind
- Thunder
- Wish
This Jirachi has saved me lots of times. If I can set up enough Calm Mind's, then you'd better watch out. Water Pulse / Thunder are a nice combo, hitting Dugtrios' and such. Wish for healing.
Toxicroak (M) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Dry Skin
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Sucker Punch
- Substitute
Another Pokemon that would pwn is set up right. Once I got 4x Def and Atk and don't ask me how that battle went :D Sub is to avoid hax and other stuff, and Drain Punch and Sucker Punch are my moves.
Ferrothorn (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Spikes
- Thunder Wave
Replacement for Genesect. Since I didn't have a hazard setter, I decided to go with Ferrothorn. It's been months since I last battled with one, so I'm not sure how this guy will turn out. Stealth Rock and Spikes are hazards, with Leech Seed and Thunder Wave crippling the opponenet.
Salamence (M) @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 204 Atk / 52 SAtk / 252 Spd
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Outrage
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
Usually out'speeds other dragons even if they have some DD's on. Scarf MoxieMence <3 Outrage and Dragon Claw are twin STAB moves, with Fire Blast for annoying Ferro's and Forretress. Earthquake is for coverage.
Ambipom (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Fake Out
- Double Hit
- U-turn
- Low Sweep
Gotta love the Fake Out. Fake Out does some surprising damage, even in OU. If Fake Out does 40% + damage then I can ususally KO the opponent with Double Hit next. Low Sweep is for a little coverage and U-Turn is for scouting.
