Remember that I'm a beginner in this, so don't go harsh :)
Well, I was looking around at Legendary EX Cards and I dicided to make a deck on the Groudon EX card. I'm adding Electric types so I can get a Zapdos EX in here to cover the water weakness. Well, here it goes...

Pokemon: 23

Groudon: http://serebii.net/darkexplorers/054.shtml :X1
The main card for this WHOLE deck.

Zapdos: http://serebii.net/card/blackkyuremexbattlestrength/007.shtml :X1
The helper for Groudon to stop waters. It's also the final EX card...

Tynamo: http://serebii.net/card/darkexplorers/045.shtml :X3
There isn't really much of a point but so I can get stage 2 and 3 of this in here. I was going to do The Elekid family but elekid isn't in any BW decks.

Elektrike: http://serebii.net/card/darkexplorers/046.shtml :X2
it's probably one of the strongest Stage 2 pokemon with Shock Bolt.

Electross: http://serebii.net/card/darkexplorers/047.shtml :X1
Slurp Shakedown helps on pushing away Fighting types, and it heals while damaging with Suction Heal

Keldeo: http://serebii.net/card/boundariescrossed/048.shtml :X2
My only Mythical pokemon here. Also covers ground types.

Terrakion: http://serebii.net/card/boundariescrossded/151.shtml :X2
Very useful and 100% fighting.

Virizion: http://serebii.net/card/everyonesexitingbattle/005.shtml :X2
Covers the ground weakness of electric along with keldeo.

Sandshrew: http://serebii.net/card/boundariescrossed/078.shtml :X3
Just so I can get it's evolution in this deck.

Sandslash: http://serebii.net/card/boundariescrossed/079.shtml :X2
Earthquakes are worth a little recoil damage to your benched pokemon.

Flygon: http://serebii.net/card/boundariescrossed/099.shtml :X1
Ok, everyone here knows why I picked Flygon.

Vibrava: http://serebii.net/card/boundariescrossed/098.shtml :X1
Used for it's Sand Pulse attack.

Trapinch: http://serebii.net/card/boundariescrossed/083.shtml :X2
Used for taking away energies from the opponents.

Energies: 22

Fighting Energies: 10
Electric Energies: 9
Plasma Energies: 3

Trainers: 15

Fishing Rod: 2
N: 2
Gold Potion: 1

You don't need baby Pokemon in order to have an evolution line. Electabuzz is a Basic Pokemon. While you can evolve it from Elekid, this is not needed, unlike most Pokemon. Also, Pokemon go under the designation of: Baby (these are for Pokemon that can evolve into Basics), Basics (you can just play them right off the bat), Stage 1 (these are the second level in a line. These evolve from basics or fossils), and Stage 2 (these evolve from Stage 1 Pokemon). Knowledge of terms is a key step in becoming a master of the game.

Well, first off I'm going to take out the Elektross line because there are far better Electric types. Going to take out Keldeo because it is a Water type. Going to take out Virizion since you have no Grass type energy in your deck. Which is also why I'm going to take out Flygon. Oh, and Earthquake is not worth the damage to your bench. Because of that, Sandslash is going.

I'm also going to take out Zapdos EX. EX cards should be incredibly powerful and/or provide plenty of support to your team with abiltiies/secondary effects. This is to make up for the two prizes your opponent takes for taking one down. Groudon EX is an excellent example of a powerful EX card. 180 HP, a two for 20 with solid bench damaging, and a terrifying three for what is almost always going to be 120 damage. Zapdos... is pretty pathetic. 170 HP. Agility is weak, you have better attacks for two energy on other Pokemon. You have better attacks for one energy on other Pokemon. And the most it can do is 120 damage. Same as Groudon, but Zapdos's costs four energy to use. One of them having to be a Plasma Energy. Definately not worth it. The solution is easy to see though, just replace it for another Groudon EX.

I see this deck is a bench damaging deck, in the vein of the Tundra Rio and I made a while back. So with all that room we now have from taking out all those Pokemon, we can add cards that fit the theme of the deck better. First off we'll go with adding some more Fighting types. We'll make the Fighting side of the deck all basics actually. Four Stunfisk will be of great help to your deck, they can put a battle in your favor right off the bat. We'll then add two Landorus. While it does do damage to your bench, it also damages the opponent's bench unlike Sandslash. Far superior to Sandslash. Just be careful when using it. Next up is the only evolution line in the deck: Zebstrika (with Blitzle). While Electivire is more powerful and bulkier, it has a worse basic (Blitzle's Agility easily makes up for 20 less HP) and takes more Energy before it can do anything. Zebstrika can start hitting hard right away with a one for 30. Electivire and Electabuzz can still be used though. Finally, because we have a lot of basics, we'll add three Emolga to the deck.

We can take out the Plasma Energy now that we don't have Zapdos. 16 Energy is a good number for the deck. We'll have four Blend Energy, nine Fighting Energy, and three Electric Energy.

We have space for 24 Trainers. Oh joy. I say either go N or go Juniper. Juniper works better for this deck I think, so we'll take out the N. As I said before, there are cards that outclass Energy Search and Energy Retrieval. So we'll take those two out. Oh, and make sure you have the right names for your cards (and also that your links work). This makes it easier on the deck mechanic. Also going to take out the two Hugh. And the Skyla. A single Skyla isn't all that helpful. And we need the space for cards that will better help you.

Let's add two more Cheren and one more Juniper. This is usually enough drawing power. And we'll add two more Super Rod. We'll add the standard four Pokemon Catcher. Since this deck is basic heavy, the card Eviolite should prove to be very helpful. Electric decks will have trouble touching you with that card. Three Cilan should get you all the Energy you need. Finally, we'll add two Pokemon Communication to help you get the Pokemon you need.

Final Deck: 60
