Only cards from Rising Rivals, Supreme Victors, Arceus, and HeartGold SoulSilver are allowed. However, Energy cards from previous sets are also allowed.

Pokemon: 22

x4 Eevee (RR)-Needed for evolution.
x2 Jolteon (RR)-Quick Attack can do 40 damage for one energy. Evolving Thunder is a great two for 50 that does 10 damage to each of my opponent's benched Pokemon if I evolved from Eevee the turn used. Of course, this is great because I can devolve Jolteon. It also has Steel resistance and no retreat cost.
x3 Pikachu (HGSS)-A 60 HP basic with Steel resistance. Needed for evolution.
x2 Raichu (HGSS)-I can't resist the lure of Iron Tail. A one energy attack that has me flip coins until I get tails and then does 30 damage times the number of heads. Or I can just use Thunderbolt, a two for 100 attack. Also has Steel resistance and no retreat cost.
x2 Electivire FB (SV)-A 90 HP basic with Steel resistance. It can get me some cards at the cost of energy, although I can just get those energy back with the Level Up.
x1 Electivire FB Lv. X (SV)-Adds on 30 HP. Energy Recycle can be used to get back energy lost by Electivire FB, Rotom, or Raichu. It can also be used to power up Powerful Spark, a three for 30 that does 10 more damage for each energy attached to all my Pokemon.
x4 Raichu GL (RR)-An 80 HP basic with Steel resistance and no retreat cost. Thunder Throw is a decent one energy attack that does 10 damage to two benched Pokemon. Repeat Lightning can be powerful, a two for 30 that does 10 more damage for each benched Pokemon my opponent has with damage counters on it, meaning it can do up to 80 damage.
x4 Rotom (SV)-A 70 HP basic with Normal resistance. Discharge has me discard all energies on Rotom and then flip a coin for each energy discarded, doing 40 damage times the number of heads. This can end up being very powerful indeed and Electivire can just get those energy back. And Uproar can do some decent damage, it does 10 damage to each of my opponent's Pokemon for two energy.

Trainers: 15

x4 Moomoo Milk (HGSS)-Healing.
x4 Professor Oak's New Theory (HGSS)-Drawing.
x2 Professor Elm's Training Method (HGSS)-Gets me evolutions.
x2 Pokemon Collector (HGSS)-Gets me basics.
x2 Switch (HGSS)-For retreating.
x1 Sunyshore City Gym (RR)-My Electric types aren't affected by resistance and have no weakness. Also removes any Stadiums my opponent might have out.

Energy: 23

x23 Electric Energy-Needed.
