Politoed @ Choice Specs
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 Spd
Modest Nature
- Hydro Pump
- Focus Blast
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Grass]
my ever present weather setter. sets up Rain and acts as a cannon after.

Ferrothorn (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Barbs
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Leech Seed
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
- Power Whip
yeah i know another one of Slip's Rain teams with Ferrothorn... for a reason. when this thing survives a Fire Blast from Heatran you realize hiw amazing this combo is. hazards and status spreader

Gliscor (F) @ Toxic Orb
Trait: Poison Heal
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 180 Def / 72 Spe
Careful Nature
- Toxic
- Protect
- Ice Fang
- Substitute
Another wall, this can easily Toxic stall most things lacking Stel typing to hell and back. i have had multiple rage quits due to this pup. Ice Fang covers the most common setup sweeper Dragonite so its easy to land a 2HKO with a Sub up and Paralysis support.

Infernape (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Mach Punch
- ThunderPunch
- Fire Punch
- Swords Dance
Physical Sweeper. in rain its also increadibly easy to switch into a fire attack and force a pesky heatran out. rest is coverage abd swords dance snags a boost on the forced switch.

Tentacruel (F) @ Black Sludge
Trait: Rain Dish
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spd
Bold Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Substitute
- Scald
- Protect
Spinner and Specially biased Mixed Wall. Functions similar to Gliscor in rain stalling with protect and sub and regaining 12% HP each turn.

Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 224 SDef / 252 HP / 32 Spd
Careful Nature
- Iron Head
- Body Slam
- Wish
- Ice Punch
Last but not least we round out our defensive typong coverage to allow safe switching into Ice Grass Psychic Electric Dragon Fighting Poison Fire Flying Dark Steel Rock Ground and Normal attacks. Ghost attacks are still neutral threats but oh well. ive found a way to switch into common problem types for my previous rain teams. and btw its a ParaFlinch Haxrachi. Ice Punxh is to beat up Dragons that may have been paralyzed by a stray Body Slam on the switch in.

this team 6-0'd my dear compadre Sent_By_Ravens.

well is it. tell me your thoughts please?

thanks :)

Mind you I beat the crap out of the other 2 variants, and what with all this mention of killing Heatran and Dragonite, it's OBVIOUSLY a counter team xP
hmph, infernape and gliscor on a rain team? Infernape with fire punch. Gliscor is alright I guess.
@Ben: i menation them because after battling everyone and their dog i kept finding myself unable to switch safely in on Ninetales Heatran Starmie Dragonite Venusaur Breloom and Mamoswine. so i looked at the type charts studying meticulously til i found a comination of types that can resis or tank a neutral from almost any type.

@Gligurr: uh yeah gliscor on a rain team... to block Electric attacks? like 100%-Accurate-In-Rain Thunder??? otherwise politoed eats it. and infernape has great coverage and since a common threat is a rival sun team thos way i can punish their sun beneficiaries with a STAB +  Iron Fist + Sun Boost + Life Orb Fire Punch. i foind Flare Blitz to kill ape too easily.
