PokeBase Meta Battle Subway - RMT

Another new UU team

1 vote

I was getting bored with my two other UU teams I use so why not, I made a new one. Anyway the goal of this team was to focus on stalling, walling, and sweeping all at once, though that's what teams usually focus on I tried to be unpredictable, though it didn't turn out very well xP Anyway, here's the team and I hope you like it :)
Azelf @ Flame Orb
enter image description here
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SDef
Impish Nature
- Trick
- Stealth Rock
- Zen Headbutt
- U-turn

Wierd Azelf. I know. But I've used this guy before, and it has really wrecked some physical attackers trying to set up. Surprise! Well that or I get a Leftovers and the opponent gets burned :D Then I use Stealth Rock to set up and Zen Headbutt as STAB, and U-Turn to scout. The good thing is, if I use U-Turn I don't get burned :D

Snorlax @ Leftovers
enter image description here
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP / 180 Atk / 76 Def
Adamant Nature
- Stockpile
- Rest
- Body Slam
- Crunch

Stockpile Snorlax really works. The Stockpiling leaves me for Adamant and then I can go for Attack all the while having really high Defense. I wanted to have Curse, but then that would leave me with one move, if I still wanted Rest.

Sableye @ Leftovers
enter image description here
Trait: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SDef
Bold Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Night Shade
- Recover
- Taunt

I had Sableye on one of my most successful UU teams, so he's back and stalling. Not much to say with this guy except that a lot of people hate it, lol xD Will-O-Wisp can really sreck physical attackers while doing some additional damage to special. Night Shade is just a move, to do extra damage also. Recover and Taunt gets into the stalling business, which is what this guy is meant to do.

Ambipom @ Life Orb
enter image description here
Trait: Technician
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Fake Out
- Double Hit
- Low Sweep
- U-turn

My awesome Ambipom, I always use this set, and it is simply amazing. Fake Out is some free damag at the start, nuetral it does a lot of damage, unboosted. Double Hit gets rid of pesky subs. Low Sweep for slowing down the opponent whil U-Turn is couting and coverage.

Rotom-Heat @ Choice Scarf
enter image description here
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature
- Overheat
- Discharge
- Volt Switch
- Dark Pulse

So now 4 of my Pokemon aren't scarfed, and Rotom-H gets the scarfing done. While Overheat does have drawbacks, it's extremely powerful. Discharge is amazing STAB, Volt Switch is for scouting. Dark Pulse is for coverage.

Bisharp @ Leftovers
enter image description here
Trait: Defiant
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Sucker Punch
- Brick Break
- Iron Head

Swords Dance sweeper, kinda expectable, but eh, who cares. Swords Dance boosts my attack to super high stats, Sucker Punch is hard to use but if you can land one that's a good feeling c: Brick Brick gets rid of pesky Screens while doing STAB damage, and Iron Head is for coverage.

@Blob: I have yet to see people make Sableye come in first, if it switches in it doesn't matter. Protect is a problem, yes, but who would expect it? Protect doesn't work against SR, so... Dual Tricks is a problem :c Force switch in a problem. All in all, there are flaws, but it has worked, so I don't know yet.
needs more fighting coverage. My yanmega will destroy your entire team.
..and my machamp :P
My Mienshao has potential to beat everybody in that team, so I'm in agreement with Gligurr. Luckily Fighting has but 2 weaknesses, so Rock Slide and U-turn, in addition to base 125 Attack and Hi Jump Kick, make for one scary Pokemon.
P.S. That Snorlax picture is hilarious!
"My Mienshao has potential to beat everybody in that team" Prankster Will O Wisp Sableye has something to say.

Try change the Flame Orb to Life Orb, running 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd EVs, Jolly nature and with this set: Stealth Rock | Zen Headbutt | U-turn | Explosion
Simple. Setup Stealth Rock and EXPLOSION!!!

If you use Stealth Rock and keep healthy, you can use Zen Headbutt to hit dealing a good damage. U-turn allows he do something agaisnt Sableyes...
Try change also Double Hit to Return. Yes, you may want to deal something to sub but... Eh... You know how is this. More power... Uh...
Try change also Discharge to Thunderbolt and Dark Pulse to Trick. To a choice set Discharge isn't really good as Thunderbolt... And you can use Trick in Chanseys and Porygon2 reducing their defenses by 50%.
Try change 252 Def EVs to 252 Spd EVs... A sweeper always need some speed.

Hope I helped! And good luck to your battles!
