ok, so as its title suggest, this is a UU team made around this epic phawerhouse sharpedo. the idea behind this team was fairly simple. i wanted to combine two of the best cores in the game: fire-water-grass and psychic-dark-fighting. the team was originaly meant to consist of the three kanto starters. however: delphox sakks, greninja doesn't really have a typing and chesnaught is harmless in OU. so i decided to make the new core sharpero-victini-chesnaught and use it in UU. later on, i decided to swap chesnaught for virizion as i was really lacking something specially oriented. i added a core of two support walls and made a team that can do reasonably well. if anything falls in my hands though. this team has a very tight strategy you see, so a crit or something can really screw it up. well anyway, heres the team:
_____
i have splitted this team into two cores to make it somewhat easier to understand the strategy.

Sharpedo @ Life Orb
enter image description here
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 252 Atk / 24 Def / 232 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Protect
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Waterfall

The star of the team! speed boost sharpedo is extremely good as its able to KO almost every pokemon in the tier with spikes and SR up (I'm trying to find a way to get back to spike chesnaught) except from the few ones that resist all STABs or is extreme on the psychically side. both of them which is usually dealt with by virizion or victini. waterfall and crunch is its two STABs. nothing else really. earthquake is here for its great coverage as its able to deal with all electric types which thinks they can stay in on sharpy. its also great against toxicroak.

Virizion @ Leftovers
enter image description here
Ability: Justified
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Modest Nature
- Hidden Power [Rock]
- Giga Drain
- Focus Blast
- Calm Mind

formely a chesnaught but i changed it as special victini started to be annoying to use, missing too many KO's and being unable to hit most flying types. I'm not sure about the set here though. just stole it from smogon. spamming some calm minds and trying to start a sweep. virizion is first and foremost my really important water, especially swampert counter. and it deals with some dark types too which my team can struggle with sometimes although I'm usually keeping florges along the whole game.

Victini @ Choice Scarf
enter image description here
Ability: Victory Star
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- V-create
- Bolt Strike
- U-turn
- Energy Ball

victini is here to seriously weaken those who can stop sharpedo, like chesnaught, shaymin and milotic. V-create is here to do some serious damage to anything that isn't 1/4 resistant to it or immune. bolt strike is my main coverage move to get rid of most water types barring alomonola. EnergyBall is preferred over Zen-Headbutt as zen doesn't really give any additional coverage while EnergyBall can deal with both swampers and donphan. especially the last one is a major counter to victini.

Thundurus-Therian (M) @ Life Orb
enter image description here
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Nasty Plot
- Focus Blast

i needed someone that could take on all flying types, was very good on the special side. but still had a decent defensive typing that didn't bring any new weakness to the team and was resistant to ground. although it came down too emolga and thundurus-T, i felt like thundurus could do it better overall with greater offensive stats + it has focus blast, so thundurus joined this team as a counter to flying types which could otherwise destroy my team. HP ice for ground types, thunderbolt is chosen STAB, focus blast is a really great coverage move as it deals with rocks that could otherwise threat thundu.

Florges (F) @ Leftovers
enter image description here
Ability: Flower Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
Calm Nature
- Aromatherapy
- Wish
- Moonblast
- Protect

florges is number 1 of my last-one-standing super defensive core. florges is every special attackers nightmare. I'm not gonna say very much as i g2g soon, but wish and aromatherapy is to keep my teammates, especially aggron and virizion tip-top.

Aggron-Mega @ Aggronite
enter image description here
Ability: Filter
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Heavy Slam
- Thunder Wave

mega-aggron is the other part of my defensive core as it can take on almost every psychical attacker, heck! even V-create victini that florges fear. I'm trying to keep aggron at good health along the whole battle and hopefully also get SR up
___

well, i like to think that this is a fairly decent team that provides some good defensive synergy. however, this is theory. the problems is first and foremost sharpedos's extreme frailness. it can't switch in on anything and therefore doesn't really provide any useful synergy to the team. due to this, I'm extremely weak to fast fire types. losing momentum can also really screw this team up as it follows a tight strategy as i said up here so something fatal might happen if i fail to predict a ground type switching in on victinis bolt strike or if focus blast miss. well, suggestions please, thanks

Nidoking absolutely destroys your Defensive core.

Also, Cresselia is capable of walling all of you pokemons and threatens to KO half the team with Ice Beam + Psyshock, and screw the others over with Thunder Wave.

However, all being said, this team looks really stable and successful.
mm, i have had problems with nidoking recently as i have no safe switch ins to all his moves. haven't met a cresselia yet.
i was thinking to replace someone with donphan to take care of fire and poison + remove hazards. not sure who to replace though...
also, does someone care too give me a full rate? i have almost neve touched UU so i would appreciate any help
How the heck are you not running Destiny Bond on Sharpedo?? This isn't freaking Gen V, where Crunch is viable enough. Change that. Jeez.
Crunch earthquake and waterfall provides almost perfect neutral coverage so sharpedo can do what its best at: late game sweeping. Destiny bond would leave me weak to Much more pokemons like celebi and i prefer to kill my opponent instead of killing it and die myself. I get your point though. It would help me kill flotteste and some other bulky stuff, but aggron deals with fairies and virizion and victini can deal with all counters of sharpedo so it can late game sweep. otherwise, thanks! You were trying
I love how you mention Celebi, when Crunch can't even KO the most common variant, while it one shots you with Giga Drain. And your explanation makes no sense. Destiny Bond would only benefit you, as it lets Sharpedo KO two mons when used right. But whatever, I was only trying to make your Star Poke better. You fail to acknoledge the benefits, so don't say "You were trying". Like I never played the damn tier.
no no no! dont misunderstand me. Im not mad at you or anything, and of course i get your point, you dont need to sound so harsh :/   it would help me take some other Stuff like Chesnaught and florges. what i mean is that  i use sharpedo late game when  the opponent is weakened  so i can finish them.  Im trying out destiny bond though
From my experiences with carvahna in lc, I back mike up fully on this, it work excellently.
