My new team. Sort of...I posted it yesterday but I made a few noticeable changes. Namely a Garchomp to avoid 3 pokemon weak to fire (namely Infernape) and counter the Gyar counters. As well as a more optimistic title and descriptions.
Chansey (F) @ Eviolite
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
- Toxic
- Protect
- Wish
- Aromathernapy
Cleric and staller, Chansey walls even the most powerful special sweepers. although Phisical moves still damage I do have thorn on my team so a switch can resolve all.
Alakazam @ Focus Sash
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Charge Beam
Fight types are running amok these days and although I use one my self (Breloom) I still need to keep the cheeky so-and-so's in check, and combined with my lack of a special sweeper I couldn't resist the oppotuinty to use good old Kazam! Psychic is the main moves of the set with focus blast and shadow ball covering for weakness. Charge beam sets up while doing damage.
Gyarados @ Water Gem
Trait: Moxie
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Waterfall
I have been using Gary here as a fire counter for a while now and it hasn't failed me yet. A switch to Chompy and you trouble goes away... permanently. This powerful Moxie abuser is very underrated and deserves recognition. One d-dance allows you too sweep anything you want with the exception of perhaps Ferrothorn. Gemed waterfall gets momentum going.
Garchomp @ Choice Band
Trait: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Fire Fang
- Aqua Tail
Mamoswine replacement. Deals with dragon without having to set. Outrage is main attack sweeping most teams. Gary and chompy combined provide a VERY dangerous combo allowing maximum attack power.
Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 Def / 4 Atk / 252 SDef
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Spd
- Power Whip
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave
- Leech Seed
This provides a hazard setter as well as a Mixed wall. Many sweepers fail to break its defence allowing slow painful damage or at least buy some time if Chansey fails.
Breloom @ Focus Sash
Trait: Technician
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Mach Punch
- Swords Dance
- Substitute
YOU WILL RAGE QUIT!! I love a properly used Breloom. Its pretty standard but its standard for a reason. You know the drill. Spore then sub then S-dance then obliteration. annoying ghost types may wall this but I dont' intend of using this guy on ghost types.
Well thanks! (I made this not sound depressing so that's good. I intend to add pics but the laptop is very slow) Hope you like!
