I'm not giving a set for Rhydon ir Steelix because I don't feel as if they have a place in OU.

Rhydon's x4 Grass weakness and RU tier status means it's outclassed by so many Pokemon in OU; it also has abysmal speed in order to sweep effectively. I would suggest another sweeper w/o a grass weakness. Also, why didn't you choose Rhyperior instead? You're not giving it Eviolite, so why aren't you using the final evolution? Having said that, Rhydon doesn't benefit from Eviolite anyway, since it's not suitable to be a wall due to too many weaknesses.

Steelix is another RU Pokemon, weak to the same things Metagross is weak to plus fighting as well. If you want another Steel type, go either Heatran, Jirachi or Bronzong. Steelix also has a mediocre base attack of 85 along with a depressing speed of 30, and you need to do better than that in OU. Investing max EVs in speed is a waste of your time and effort. You also already have a physical sweeper in Metagross, you should consider a special one.

image
Metagross @ Life Orb
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Nature: Jolly
- Agility
- Zen Headbutt
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch

Dynamic Punch is only worthwhile on Pokemon like Golurk, since it has No Guard. 50% chance of hitting is rubbish, and will cost you the game.

Metagross has an advantageous typing, which will give it enough time to set up Agility and then sweep. Ice Punch is there to deal with Dragonite and Salamence, Zen Headbutt for STAB, and Earthquake to deal with other steel types that will otherwise wall you.

image
Claydol
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Sp. Def, 4 Def
Nature: Careful
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Reflect/ Toxic

Basic set for Claydol. Quick Claw is a gimmicky item that's annoying when it works and annoying when it doesn't. Use Leftovers instead. Snore is a pointless move with a base power of 40, and if you wanted Rest then you might as well use Rest/ Sleep Talk, but Claydol has better things to do than that.

Reflect is there to up its defence and prolong its time on the battlefield, or Toxic for status ailment. Claydol is a good rapid spinner due to levitate and stealth rock resistance.

You can consider Starmie in favour for Claydol, because of Natural Cure and Recover. Or Hitmontop due because of your Dark weaknesses. But Claydol is good enough if you want to stick with it.

image
Dusclops
Item: Eviolite
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 Sp. Def
Nature: Bold
- Shadow Sneak
- Destiny Bond
- Will-O-Wisp/ Toxic
- Pain Split

Dusclops main usage in OU is due to the fact that it can wall even its weaknesses with Eviolite. Will-O-Wisp will cause a drop in attack, Pain Split to replenish HP, and Destiny Bond to take something down with it.

You can choose Toxic instead, since Jellicent has Will-O-Wisp.

image
Jellicent
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP, 128 Def, 128 Sp. Def
- Will-O-Wisp
- Scald
- Recover
- Hex

Will-O-Wisp your opponent, and then keep Hexing them. Hex gives x2 damage when the opponent has a status, so it's does damage more than Shadow Ball.

I am not a fan of gems/ plates in most cases (exception is Flying Gem Acrobatics); they only power up either 1 type of move or are only 1 use. Go with long term items like Life Orb, Leftovers, etc.

You don't have have a Cleric either, so consider Blissey for a special defence, or Umbreon to cover your Ghost/ Dark weaknesses.

image
Umbreon
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Synchronise
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 Def, 252 Sp. Def, 4 HP
- Wish
- Heal Bell
- Foul Play
- Protect/ Yawn

What Umbreon is weak to Dusclops can wall, and vice versa, so you can have a nice core going on here. Though, Umbreon allows special Pokemon to set up because it has little offensive value, so be careful.

image
Blissey
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 Def, 252 Sp. Def, 4 HP
- Aromatherapy
- Softboiled
- Toxic
- Flamethrower/ Ice Beam

image
Jirachi
Item: Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
Nature: Naive
EVs: 154 Atk, 154 SpA, 200 Speed.
- Body Slam
- Iron Head
- HP Ice
- Grass Knot/ Psyshock

Jirachi can serve as a mixed sweeper, which will cover your special attack slot. It can also Paraflinch your opponent into rage quitting. However, Jirachi will add another fire weakness to your team.

I know there are many answers... You are lucky (I get answers very rarely...) :P Anyways, here is my suggestions:

Like every answer here, I suggest too change Steelix to Ferrothorn. Good defensive stats for a mixed wall. Mainly spiker :P Here is the set:

Ferrothorn | Rocky Helmet/Leftovers
Iron Barbs | Careful (+SpDef -SpAtk)
252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpDef
Thunder Wave | Spikes
Leech Seed | Power Whip

Thunder Wave gives to Ferrothorn free turns to use Spikes and heal with Leech Seed and Leftovers, if not holding Rocky Helmet. Power Whip is to crush some guys that tries to taunt him/her.

I'll jump to Jellicent. Why? Because Ferrothorn's weakness are Fire and Fighting, witch Jellicent may not take much damage. And vice-versa. The moveset is bad. Sorry for insulting you. Try use this moveset:

Jellicent | Leftovers
Cursed Body | Calm (+SpDef -Atk)
252 HP / 4 SpAtk / 252 SpDef
Will-O-Wisp | Surf
Recover | Taunt

This EVs investments turns Jellicent a good special wall plus the burning helps him/her take physical hits effectively too. Will-O-Wisp is self explanatory. Burning oponent's to stall and give to him/her a way to take physical hits effectively bar Guts guys... Surf gains STAB and is a way to beat taunters. Recover heals off any weak damages. Helps with stalling too. Taunt can stop the oponent's to setup hazards and try badly poison and burn her/him. Leftovers can't be forgotten in a wall or staller.

This Metagross's moveset is really bad too... Sorry for insulting you other time.
DynamicPunch have 100% chance to confuse and a good 100 base power but the 50% accuracy is really a letdown. Hammer Arm... I don't know if is a good move for this set. Ice Punch is a good move but with this set I don't know if this is a good move. Protect? I can't see some use in Protect bar protect from Explosions. Still not a good move for Metagross. Hm... You can skip all this and just use this moveset:

Metagross | Life Orb
Clear Body | Jolly (+Spd -SpAtk)
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Rock Polish | Meteor Mash
Earthquake | Thunder Punch

My Metagross's moveset. After a single Rock Polish allows outspeed scarfed Terrakion and neutral nature Venusaurs in sun. Just destroying them because they think it can outspeed to nail him with Earthquake or pseudo STABbed Hidden Power (Fire), respectively. Yeah, Earthquake in Terrakion maybe rare but I've found some already :P Meteor Mash is his main move giving a passive Atk boost that helps he deal a nice chunck of damage and gains STAB. Earthquake nails Fire, Steel and Electric-types that tries to come and resist his Meteor Mash. Thunder Punch is for Water-types that comes to sponge his Meteor Mash. Life Orb adds a nice debuff to his moves at cost of his life. I'm not suggesting this but Leftovers is other options over Life Orb.

Claydol is ur spinner ryt? Try use this set:

Claydol | Leftovers
Levitate | Calm (+SpDef -Atk)
252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpDef
Stealth Rock | Reflect
Earth Power | Rapid Spin

Since Ferrothorn is only spiking, I've added Stealth Rock in the set. Reflect allows he take physical hits effectively while the EVs + nature allows he take special hits. Earth Power is ur only attacking move. Rapid Spin blows away those annoying hazards. Leftovers is a good item for supportmons.

Why are you using Rhydon? Rhyperior is 10000x better but Rhyperior seems not good in your team. What about use... This? A good special attacker with a Steel-typing without Fire weakness. Resists Fire, Dark, Ghost and Grass-type moves that may crush at least 2 of your pokemons. Here is the set:

Heatran | Air Balloon/Leftovers
Flash Fire | Modest (+SpAtk -Atk)
252 HP / 252 SpAtk / 4 SpDef
Rest | Sleep Talk
Fire Blast/Flamethrower | Dragon Pulse

Mine ResTalkTran. Fire Blast is his main move dealing a good damage. Flamethrower is a other option being more reliable. Dragon Pulse alongside with his STAB move allows he damage many pokemons with at least neutral damage bar other Heatrans. Rest + Sleep Talk is a nice combo.

No Dusclops. Go with Conkeldurr!

Conkeldurr | Leftovers
Iron Fist | Brave (+Atk -Spd)
252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def
0 Spd IVs
Substitute | Focus Punch
Mach Punch | Payback

My SubPunchDurr. Substitute allows he make Focus Punch without being interrupted bar multi-hit moves. Is a strong move with 150 base power, receiving STAB, Iron Fist and with his max Atk stat deals a nice chunk of damage, even if resisted. Mach Punch gains STAB and Iron Fist boost too and can quickly finish weakned pokemons. Payback can take care about Ghosties that may come to interrupt the SubPunch. Leftovers allows he make even more subs helping him use more Focus Punches.

Here is the team to you import/export for the Pokemon Showdown. Make sure to change the items and move of choice for Ferrothorn, Heatran and maybe Metagross.

OMGGGG!!! Forgot this important thing!!! After you enter in NotePub, you need to login. Enter with this:

Ok I will help!!!!!!!!

This is a OU team so you need OU pokemon. Lets start with Steelix.

Steelix is a defensive wall, which is good. But if you need a wall then have something that works as a wall. Try this...

Ferrothorn

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Trait: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 Def / 4 Atk / 252 SDef
Impish Nature
- Power Whip
- Thunder Wave
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed

If you wanted too, you could replace the leftovers with rocky helmet. But leftovers is preferred. power whip is a main attack allowing you to do damage. Leech seed allows a slow, painfull death but rapid spin can be used to remove hazards.Thunder wave sets up well.

Ok Metagross isn't that bad.It leads it self to a bulky sweeper, but it follows onto the Fire weakness. I suggest this...

Metagross

Metagross @ Life Orb
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Earthquake
- Zen Headbutt
- Ice Punch

or try this...

Alakazam

Alakazam @ Life Orb
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
Bulky sweeper or Special sweeper. Your call. Metagross is designed to last a good while doing heavy damage, while Alakazam will just plough straight through but is very frail.

hmm.... well.... Claydol isn't really any-good these days...or ever in my opinion...so I suggest a nice troller. Lest go Chansey!

Chansey

Chansey (F) @ Eviolite
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
- Seismic Toss
- Toxic
- Wish
- Protect

Bulkyness is good! Toxic your opponent then sit back and relax, let the poison do the work. Protect and wish to heal and seismic toss to speed up the process.

is Rhydon supposed to be a sweeper? Bad choice. But you do need a fire type counter. Infernape would crush this team. So a dragon wont hurt! Specificity Garchomp!

Garchomp

Garchomp @ Choice Band
Trait: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Outrage
- Fire Fang
- Earthquake
- Aqua Tail
This set is underrated. Choice band stops the need to S-dance,allowing to get on the offensive faster. E.Quake really pounds Infernape so this should really help!

I am not sure what Dusclops is for. But you need to cover for Garchomps ice weakness. A good fight type should do it!

Machamp

Machamp @ Leftovers
Trait: No Guard
EVs: 252 Atk / 248 HP / 8 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- Ice Punch/payback
- Substitute
- DynamicPunch

I love this. it really brings on the pain. No guard ensures Confusion from this powerful pokemon. Bullet punch and ice punch/payback cover various things.

This new team seems a little weak to Fight types. we have meta and Kazam but that might not be enough. Jelly is very good in this postion. Walls of fight types and provides ghost support. Try this set...

Jellicent

Jellicent @ Leftovers
Trait: Cursed Body
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Calm Nature
- Recover
- Will-O-Wisp
- Psychic
- Hydro pump

This set is one I like. Recover and will-o-wisp ensure a long lasting endurance in the battle. Hydro pump is STAB and Psychic finishes of the anti-fight type thing.

OK, I hope this helps!

PX;)

Hey Fluffy!

You do have a big grass weakness. I suggest switching Steelix with Ferrothorn for entry hazards. Run it with this set.

Ferrothorn (M) @ Leftovers
Ability- Iron Barbs
Nature- Sassy (+SDef, -Spe)
IV's- 0 Spe
EV's- 252 HP, 128 Def, 128 SDef

  • Leech Seed
  • Stealth Rock
  • Spikes
  • Gyro Ball

Ok, your Metagross has some big flaws. There is no need for protect. And don't use two fighting moves. Use this instead:

Metagross @ Choice Band
Nature- Adamant
Ability- Clear Body
EV's- 252 HP, 252 Atk, 4 SDef

  • Meteor Mash
  • Bullet Punch/Zen Headbutt
  • Pursuit
  • Earthquake/Hammer Arm/Ice Punch

Now for your Claydol. Never use a Quick Claw. Never. Also, Rapid Spin shouldn't be your only atack.

Claydol @ Leftovers
Ability- Levitate
Nature- Relaxed
EV's- 252 HP, 128 Def, 128 Sdef

  • Rapid Spin
  • Earthquake
  • Psychic
  • Toxic

Why are you using Rhydon? It is an RU pokemon. Definitely replace it with a fire type, like Chandelure.

Chandelure (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability- Flash Fire
Nature- Modest
EV's- 4 HP, 252 SAtk, 252 Spe

  • Fire Blast
  • Shadow Ball
  • Energy Ball
  • Hidden Power (Fighting)/Psychic

There is no need for Dusclops, so switch it with a fighting type, like Conkeldurr.

Conkeldurr (M) @ Leftovers
Ability- Guts/Iron Fist
Nature- Brave/Adamant
EV's- 120 HP, 252 Atk, 136 SDef

  • Mach Punch
  • Drain Punch
  • Bulk Up
  • Payback

Ok, Jellicent is not that great, so go with Vaporeon (another bulky water type) instead.

Vaporeon (F) @ Leftovers
Ability- Water Absorb
Nature- Bold
EV's- 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 SDef

  • Scald
  • Ice Beam
  • Wish
  • Protect/Toxic/Roar

Hope I helped!

We are pretty alike. Love the Thorn set. fluffy will decide which is better.
