Introduction

Hello everyone. Today I have decided the time has come for Ninja to
return to his glory days. Many of you probably never have seen my
friends fight beside me, for they have been buried since the fall of
the DB tiers. But some have. Mew, trachy, Josh, Mike, and many others from my pre-2000s have seen it. More importantly, raged at Walldeo. I used this team for a very long time, and it has risen again. I have made many revisions. This team... may be more mediocre since then. Anyways, I run a simple IllusionCarioMagius tri-core, as
well as an effective wall-like Keldeo. The team takes advantage of
Justified and Illusion, but unfortunately Dark types have fallen to
the bottom of OU. Zoroark can sweep off his Fighting weakness with
Mismagius, giving it a free +2. When the trouble comes, The real
Mismagius soaks in the Fighting. Then Lucario takes the Dark ^_^.
Along them I have a nice Water-Fire-Grass typing to support. Without further ado, meet my squadron.

Issues:
- DNite
- Jolteon

Replays:

  • #1. Could've 6-0'd w/ Keldeo, but got a crit and then I made a stupid play. Victini redeems.

  • #2. Illusion's magic destroys everything.

  • #3. Celebi CM bossin.

Just did these 4. 3/4 isn't bad. 75% Ratio.

The Team

Lucario @ Life Orb
Trait: Justified
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 Atk
Hasty Nature
- Aura Sphere
- Close Combat
- Psychic
- Crunch

Lucario serves as a mixed sweeper, beating down anything trying to beat it. Lucario pivots many times throughout a battle, taking advantage of Justified when Mismagius is threatened. Aura Sphere is a basic special STAB, beating down weak sweepers such as Mamo. Not missing, ever, is a very nice advantage. Close Combat is a physical STAB, meant to hit down Special walls when Aura Sphere cannot. Psychic is a coverage, beating down fighting threats and hitting well... everything. Crunch is more physical coverage. Might as well take out those rare Psychic types in OU. Overall Lucario sweeps through most walls.

Zoroark @ Focus Sash
Trait: Illusion
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef
Timid Nature
- Flamethrower
- Nasty Plot
- Focus Blast
- Dark Pulse

Zoroark is probably my favorite Pokemon. Excellent revenge killer. Zoroark illusions behind Mismagius, keeping it safer from Fighting types. Flamethrower is a good Steel hitter, bye hazard setters. +2 Flamethrower will hit hard. Nasty Plot is an automatic +2 combined with Sash. With a +2 STAB almost everything gets KO'd. Focus Miss isn't really focus miss for me, and it will OHO so much with +2. Dark Pulse is Zoroark's STAB. It will hit dem ghosties harder than ghosties themselves. Overall revenge killer. Switches when he is revealed, if he doesn't outspeed.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SAtk / 220 HP / 36 Spd
Modest Nature
- Calm Mind
- Earth Power
- Giga Drain
- Heal Bell

Celebi acts as a powerful Rainkiller, beating down bulky waters. The idea of this set is not to be a Frailibi, but to remove threats. Calm Mind is for situations like a Gastro, where little damage can be done. This allows me to abuse Giga STAB. Earth Power is another coverage move, hurting whoever it wants to. Giga Drain keeps Celebi alive, because tbh Celebi can only take about two hits. Heal Bell is a necessary support, because status screws up the team. If Lucario gets a TWave, it hurts.

Victini @ Fire Gem
Trait: Victory Star
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Jolly Nature
- V-create
- U-turn
- Bolt Strike
- Brick Break

Victini! :D Victini acts as a powerful physical sweeper. V-Create is an unstoppable force. 200x1.5 is 300 power. OHKO anything unresisted, do 2/3 damage to anything resisted w/ 252 def. 100% chance to OHKO Politoed, no defense EVs. Same for Jelli. Wow. U-Turn lets me pivot into Lucario, maybe giving a Justified boost. Useful for after I use VCreate, since dem stat drops go in. Bolt Strike is a powerful Electric coverage, taking flying types like DNite down. A must have for physical Victini, tbh. Brick Break is another coverage move that helps deal with Special Walls.

Keldeo @ Leftovers
Trait: Justified
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 HP / 252 SDef
Modest Nature
- Secret Sword
- Scald
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Calm Mind

This set is my favorite Keldeo set. Keldeo, among other base 600s, can serve any role. You might have noticed I have three. This guy tanks everyone. It does take a well thought plan, but Toxic is an easy counter. Secret Sword is Keldeo's signature move, STAB and power. Special for some reason. Scald is my sub-STAB, used to cripple defensive sweepers w/ the burn chance. Something is so special about Water and Fighting, all of their weaknesses can be covered. Hidden Power Ice does just that. Calm Mind helps support Keldeo's defenses. Oh look, a Keldeo! Easy to take down, pity. Hurricane will deal with it! Wrong... so very wrong. Calm Mind brings Keldeo up and up, keeping it alive. This guy is quite troublesome, because he forces you into some thought.

Mismagius @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Hex
- Will-O-Wisp
- Thunderbolt

Part 2 of the core. Mismagius is my ghostie bait, screwing fighting types. I can also pull off this combo multiple times, making them think the REAL ghostie is Zoroark. It takes patience, but when that time comes, Nasty Plot cleans up. Hex is STAB, 140 damage with burn. Considering switching for Shadow Ball. With Nasty Plot, I can clean up powerful sweepers. Will-O-Wisp is a basic burn, stopping the bigger threats who can sweep me. Thunderbolt... who uses a team without this move? Basic coverage.

Well, that was the team. Quite fun to play, I must say. For the first time in a long time, here is an importable copy.

You might want some defensive EV's on Keldeo seeing that CM takes care of the spD part
Also the fact that you have no scarfers or priorty makes it easy for other scarfers or +spe boosting moves to sweep you. As seen in video
I need the WOW on Magius, beats up sweepers.

Keldeo is probably never going to change. Max Speed on Keldeo seems stupid to me, it gets O'd in a turn.

Night Daze > Dark Pulse, will do.

Celebi actually survives UTurns like a boss. TWave is considered.
Mess-up comment. Sorry...
Pretty good, I would suggest Lucario having Earthquake, maybe for CC. Other than that, great!
I think it would be really cool to see this team updated for gen 6, making Lucario Mega and taking care of Fairy Weakness.
