Pokémon Rate My Team

Hi guys. I have decided to post my Gym Leader team here. First of all, I want you guys to know that I am posting this because:

  • I have taken a break from battling (Yes, you can see me on Amethyst, and yes I will sometimes take a part in the tourneys there, but that's because I am trying to find the thrill of battling again) For the most part, I have taken a break. I will come back later.
  • If/When I come back, and for some magical reason am still a Gym Leader, I will obviously use a different team, because most of you who battled me probably memorized this whole team by now.

Oh, and before I forget, this team is the new version of the iUU: UnderUsed Soldiers team. The reason I haven't edited that team, or deleted it is because I am thinking of reusing that team sometime in the future. So before I start I want to try something I've never done before. Go through the team members one by one. Lol. Bear with me.
____
So here were the old UU Soldiers:

___
The new crew:

____
So as you can see, not much changed from the old team to another. But really, my whole synergy changed. Big. And that is the whole point of this RMT. Also to show you guys my Gym team, but mostly this. Oh, and another reason was to show you guys my thinking behind these Pokemon, which I did not really do in the other RMT.

So this was the team building process:
enter image description here
I was dying to try out Gliscor Jr, so yes Gligar came onto my team first. It was an important lead most of the time because it can set Stealth Rocks and screw over all the fire types.
___

enter image description here -> enter image description here

At first I had Snorlax to form a core with Gligar, but then a great UU battler called Enoch pointed out to me that Snorlax was basically pointless, as it didn't provide any help, and did the same thing as Umbreon did. Umbreon can also take fire and ice type moves, you know. So then I wanted a spinner, to help out Typhlosion/Chandy. (I forgot if I changed that before this or after) So I searched, and I knew that Blastoise was not going to cut it. Neither was Claydol. So then I found Hitmontop. Hitmontop can spin away those hazards, but can also use Toxic very well. I'll talk more in-depth about it in the actual team.

I really wanted a physical dragon that could set up, and no Flygon was not that Dragon. So then I found Kingdra. Yes it can actually work out side of rain. D-Dance screws over so many Pokemon. After one, it can speed non-boosted Pokemon and also hit hard. I can get many sweeps with this guy.
_____
enter image description here
Umbreon is probably my most important team member. It acts as a Cleric, Wish-passer, and can also screw over Mew.
__
enter image description here
Say hello to my noobiest Pokemon ever. Calm Mind Raikou. NOOB! But yes, this guy can actually pull off sweeps so much easier than Kingdra. With 115 base Speed, man this guy sweeps like everything in UU that's not boosted or scarfed. Calm Mind boosts my SpA to high levels, and boom T-Bolt everything.
____

enter image description here -> enter image description here

I was so tired of being hit by Pursuit. Also, 80 base speed was not my favorite. Ugh Chandy needed to get out. After searching for a while, I came up with Typhlosion. Yes, bye RU. Hello, UU! The main reason I am using this guy is because of Eruption. Man, does that hurt. nothing, and I mean nothing that does not resist can afford to switch in on this guy. Also, he's scarfed. Base 100 speed? Not bad.
____
So this is what I really wanted to do :P The main team will be down below, I won't be able to fit sprites and descriptions in on this page alone.

how u become gym leader
Gym leaders tend to be highly active high ranking members, who over their long time at the pokebase have proven themselves to be exceptional battlers. Basically the requirements are that you must be great at the tîer, be a prominent, knowledgable and experienced member of the pokebase, and be willing to face challengers on a highly regular basis.
Wow. Since when did you start reading a dictionary :P
Since I gave him one for his birthday o3o

Here is the actual team, taken in for a closer look.

iBat (Gligar) @ Eviolite
enter image description here
Trait: Immunity
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 HP / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Roost
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Toxic

I think I mentioned Gligar being essential to the team. With it's super high Defense and give that Eviolite, well this guy can stop Heracross in it's tracks! No physical attack can OHKO this guy, except maybe Banded Weaville with Ice Punch. Seriously, who uses that. Roost can screw over Stone Edge. Rocks take care of Arcy and Chandy. Earthquake can hit Bisharp and Cobalion while they do nothing to this guy. Toxic is obvious as it's a great staller move.
____

iUspidedown (Hitmontop) (M) @ Leftovers
enter image description here
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Atk
Careful Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic
- Close Combat
- Sucker Punch

Boy is Scrafty screwing over UU. Well, Intimidate can switch in on Scrafty and say, screw you. Close Combat hits Scrafty hard, oh so hard. Toxic meanwhile can stall the crap out of opposing spinners, like Claydol and that big blue Turtle. Rapid Spin is a duh move, and Sucker Punch takes care of low HP ghosties.
____
iSeahorse (Kingdra) @ Lum Berry
enter image description here
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Rest
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Outrage

Set up sweeper #1: D-Dance turns this guy into a monster. After one, Kingdra's speed is a frightening 120! That outspeeds non scarfed everything. Waterfall and Outrage are obvious STAB's, and after I set up, I can rest back to full health with the Lum to wake me. or it can stop confusion, or screw over Sableye.
____

iLion (Raikou) @ Leftovers
enter image description here
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunderbolt
- Substitute
- Calm Mind

NOOB! Yeah I honestly don't care. Man is this guy like the MVP of my team. If I can get enough CM's up, no special attack can break me. The sub stops toxic and burns, while T-Bolt and HP Ice form the awesome BoltBeam combo. Well that's really it, I don't need a whole lot of explaining.

iCat (Umbreon) @ Leftovers
enter image description here
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 8 SDef / 248 HP / 252 Def
Careful Nature
IVs: 30 SAtk
- Wish
- Heal Bell
- Foul Play
- Protect

Mr. Cleric. This guy is the best helper a team could ask for. Wish passing, man that's awesome. Heal Bell, get rid of det Toxic! Fould Play hits Mew and also strong Physical attackers, while Protect can scout and also form the Wish+Protect combo.
_____
iAngry (Typhlosion) @ Choice Scarf
enter image description here
Trait: Blaze
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Modest Nature
- Eruption
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Rock]
- Focus Blast

Scarfed Eruption? Ouch. Yeah that hurts doesn't it? Well Eruption is supposed to come in late in the game and just take down my opponents team when they are all down the medium HP. Fire Blast is my alternative, if I don't have a lot of HP. HP Rock screws over Chandy and Arcanine's Flash Fire, while is just some coverage that I never need.
____
I also take pride in the fact that no one but Riles has beat this team on their first try :P

You should try a physically defensive spread on Hitmontop and a specially defensive spread on Umbreon. Looks like a great team! Good luck!
Gligurr > iBat
Band Weavile is the only set I use in OU. UU I tend to mix it a bit, but still. And speaking of which, full speed weavile and Crobat still outspeed +1 Kingdra, but not +2. And since both are OHKOed by Waterfall anyway.

I still love this team tho :D
