MONOTYPE - GHOST

Physical Attackers

Special Attackers

Stallers / Supporters

Golurk (M) Emeth
@ Choice Scarf

Adamant Nature
Trait - No Guard

Physical Scarf -
252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP

Moves-

  • DynamicPunch
  • Earthquake
  • Shadow Punch
  • Ice Punch

Well, this is a typical Choice Scarf + DynamicPunch + No Guard combo. I got the name Emeth from Soul Eater, because the first Golem ever made was called Emeth. :D

Dusknoir (M)
@ Life Orb

Adamant Nature
Trait - Pressure

Physical Sweeper -
252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SpD

Moves-

  • Shadow Sneak
  • Sucker Punch
  • Ice Punch
  • Brick Break

I'm not very confindent in Dusknoir since his role is usually a Staller, but this was the best one I could find. Movepool was sort of limited, so I wasn't able to come up with that good of a moveset. Hopefully the Life Orb gives it the boost it needs.

Chandelure (M)
@ Life Orb

Timid Nature
Trait - Flash Fire

Special Sweeper -
252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 SpD

Moves-

  • Fire Blast
  • Shadow Ball
  • Energy Ball
  • Hidden Power (Fighting)

Chandelure is my second Life Orb weilder. (Did I spell weilder right? :3) What Ghost-Mono team shouldn't have a Chandelure in it? With the Pokémon I chose I want able to get a Focus Blast, but hopefully HP Fighting will do something.

Froslass (F)
@ Nevermeltice

Modest Nature
Trait - Cursed Body

Special Sweeper-
252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 SpD

Moves-

  • Ice Beam
  • Shadow Ball
  • Psychic
  • Destiny Bond

I do not feel good about this Froslass at all. I didn't realize that its special attack stat was so low. I REALLY want to switch it out with Gengar, but I'm too worried about Dragon types... D:

Duslops (M)
@ Eviolite

Bold Nature
Trait - Pressure

Defensive Staller-
252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SpD

Moves-

  • Pain Split
  • Seismic Toss
  • Shadow Sneak
  • Will-o-Wisp

Typical Duslops Eviolite. Bold Nature. Boss. :D Cant think of what else to say. :P

Sableye (M) Nugget
@ Focus Sash

Bold Nature
Trait - Prankster

Defensive Staller-
252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SpD

Moves-

  • Recover
  • Seismic Toss
  • Taunt
  • Toxic

I love Sableye cuz it has dat epic Prankster. I used a Prankster Sableye in my Dark-Mono team also. :D

Battle Videos!!!! 5 Tests

Battle #1: Me vs Xandrosthemighty
~Win
This was actually a Ghost vs Ghost fight to the death... But I came out alive. :D Wait... Ghosts are dead.

Battle #2: Me vs alienatio
~Win
I was going pretty smoothly against his Poison-Mono team, and I was actually able to trick his Tentacruel into a Destiny Bond takedown. When my Dusclops showed up againt his Toxicroak, he realized I was not match for him, and forfeited.

Battle #3: Me vs TrunksUSSJ
~Loss
Of course, you would expect a loss when a Ghost goes up against a Dark type. I was lucky when Chandelure's Fire Blast burned his Sashed Sableye, but then my luck drained when it was my Duslops vs his Hydreigon, and my Duslops unfortunately flinched and I lost. Gahh... The times when I should've EV trained it in Sp Defense and not Defense... >.<

Battle #4: Me vs CoconutBeaver
~Loss
Gahh... I am ashamed... Ghost + Fighting usually equals Ghost win, but... D:I was stumped a lot by Dark type moves. D:

Battle #5: Me vs MiltonHomer
~Win
I was surprised, I was actually able to get a few KOs with my Stallers. His Psychic team made a long battle but I was able to pull off a win eventually. :D

3/5 Wins
My team's rating is...

D+

Hmm. Well, good enough. :D
Ok, it took really long to do this. All done! ^_^

Nevermelt Ice? Use either Expert Belt or Focus Sash on Froslass, and Sableye should have Leftovers.
I tend to prefer Will o' wisp on Sableye, over Toxic ofc and dude, Focus Sash? Give it Lefties Ffs, and i agree w/ fondant Expert Belt on Fros. If u wanted to specs it i recommend t-bolt over Destiny Bond
Yeah, I like sash for Froslass so if it cant attack at least it can get a good Destiny Bond. But still, should I replace Froslass with Gengar?
I can still run Destiny Bond on a Gengar.
Gengar would have less weaknesses and no Stealth Rock weakness, which cuts Froslass' health by 25% on switch in. Chandelure also has a Rock weakness, and since there's no ghost spinner, you might want to reconsider having both.
I think Froslass is more for spikes instead of sweeping, but that conversely means that a sweeper Froslass will have the surprise element, whereas Gengar you know it's either going to set up Substitute on you or start attacking ASAP.
