Okay, so here's what I've got so far.

Politoed @ Damp Rock: -Rain Dance Starter-
Trait: Drizzle (hidden)
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SP.D / 4 DEF
Bold Nature

* Scald
* Ice Beam
* Toxic
* Protect
  • Starting off is Politoed. Basically here to start out the rain (with damp rock boost) and to be able to take a couple hits and mess with the opponents team if he needs to stay out due to weather cancelling effects or something.

Kingdra @ Life Orb: -Mixed Sweeper-
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 ATK / 240 SP.A / 16 SPD
Naughty Nature

* Waterfall
* Hydro Pump
* Draco Meteor
* Rain Dance
  • Basic rain dance team sweeper. I went for a mixed sweeper because this guy is coming out right after Politoed to inflict some major damage quickly. Also didn't want him to be hindered by walls as much. Rain dance on him as a failsafe, and also the life orb to boost damage all around.

Beartic @ Choice Band: -Physical Sweeper-
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 ATK / 252 SPD / 4 HP
Adamant Nature

* Dive
* Icicle Drop
* Stone Edge
* Superpower
  • Not sure about this guy, but I read up and a few builds tend to use him as a rediculously powerful physical sweeper (apparently). Guessing this guy isn't as threatening if he doesn't have swift swim. Choice band to dish out some nice damage.

Raichu @ Focus Sash: -Special Sweeper-
Trait: Lightningrod
EVs: 252 SP.A / 252 SPD / 4 HP
Timid Nature

* Thunder
* Grass Knot
* Focus Blast
* Nasty Plot
  • Ah, Raichu. There are many better special sweeps, but this little guy is my all time favorite Pokemon. Kinda built this whole team with him in mind. :P Basically comes in ideally on an electric move and absorbs it and goes to town after a boost from nasty plot. Also considering an Electro Ball/Agility build (thoughts?). Focus sash to insure one nasty plot.

Ludicolo @ Life Orb: -Special Sweeper 02-
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 SP.A / 252 SPD / 4 HP
Modest Nature

* Surf
* Grass Knot
* Ice Beam
* Focus Blast
  • This guy is fast. Basically comes in and blows the team up as best he can.

Bronzong @ Damp Rock: -The Wall-
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 HP / 128 S.DEF / 128 DEF
Bold Nature

* Light Screen
* Reflect
* Explosion
* Rain Dance
  • Wasn't sure what to do with the 6th slot. Kinda figured I would need some kind of wall. Contemplated maybe Blissey or Chansey but I wanted him to be able to Rain dance as well and stall out the opposing team. This guy kinda fit the bill. Basically comes in to refresh rain dance if need be and boost up the team's def and exit via explosion. Speaking on explosion, would it be more beneficial to go with ATK to make that move really hit home? Or better to just stack defensive stats? This guy is even in both DEF and S.DEF.

Thank-you in advance to anyone who takes the time to help me out here. This is my first actual team that I've put some thought into and any tips to help it absolutely destroy would be awesome. Hopefully I've chosen somewhat correctly, lol. But if not, let me know before I go ahead and jump into training this team!

I would suggest you to use sprites to make your questions more agreeable to look at, you know ?
I will rate it soon.
Sorry. I was trying to put some in, but they had a black box around it that I couldn't seem to get rid of. Thought it just looked better and cleaner this way.

Politoed

Leftovers > Damp Rock. Perish Song > Toxic. Otherwise, Fine.

Kingdra

Kingdra @ Life Orb:
Trait: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Sp.Atk / 252 Speed / 4 Sp.Def
Modest Nature

  • Surf / Draco Meteor / Ice Beam
  • Rain Dance
  • Hydro Pump
  • Dragon Pulse

Kingdra shows you its versatility to summon Rain and to make an excellent usage of these five turns: Having Surf and Hydro Pump in the same set may seem redundant, but actually, it is more impressive than whatever you can be thinking: You have on one hand power, and on the other hand accuracy. Now, if this is not convincing enough, run the duo Draco Meteor and Dragon Pulse for power / accuracy report. If two Dragon Attacks is making you thinking, then Ice Beam will be adding supplementary coverage against Grass type. You have an insane STAB in Hydro Pump with Life Orb and Rain Boost, 2HKOing Salamence at the process.

Beartic

Dive is horrible. Aqua Jet > Dive. Otherwise, pairs nice with Kingdra. Fine.

Raichu

Respecting your choice of favorite Pokémon, I'd say Raichu is decent in the rain. Jolteon and Thundurus-Therian outclasses him by far, but after all, Raichu is your choice. My changes:
I'd say... um... nothing. It is fine.

Ludicolo

Take it out. Kingdra's performing pretty much the same role. I'd say Gyarados performs its role and will Mega-Evolve for having a solid backup. Use a such Gyarados:

Gyarados @ Gyaradosite:
Trait: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Speed / 4 Sp.Def
Jolly Nature

  • Dragon Dance
  • Waterfall
  • Earthquake
  • Crunch

Scary Physical Sweeper. Your opponent will simply fear the mighty Gyarados after a boost and you will enjoy its destructive power as well as its ability to counter many common threats, like Mega-Charizard (both form) and Mold Breaker means that Earthquake OHKOes Magnezone.

Bronzong

Come on! There are much better choice for a rain team. I'd suggest you to use Rotom-C. It has the ability to counter Rotom-W and Gastrodon which are threatening to your Rain team, especially the latter. We have to mention Rotom-C for its excellent coverage and synergy in Rain Teams.

Rotom-C @ Choice Specs:
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 Sp.Atk / 252 Speed / 4 Sp.Def
Timid Nature

  • Trick
  • Leaf Storm
  • Volt Switch
  • Thunder

Special Attacker set. Trick will ruin stall and walls.

Other changes ?

I'd replace Beartic by Ferrothorn or Forretress for hazards. I prefer Forretress because it can spin if needed. Jellicent is an honorable idea to consider. Its wonderful typing, spinblock ability and stall ability makes it so viable in Rain Teams. Volcarona is a surprising choice, yet it can counter Sun teams and use Rain to Hurricane Spam. This guide may help you.

Hope this helps.

~ Sincerely yours, Blitz of Justice.

Thank-you so much Blitz! This helped me out a lot. I noticed after I posted this that I was missing a mega pokemon and was kinda wondering what would fit into this team. Gyarados should do nicely (plus I've been wanting to train one anyways)! I was kinda wondering what pokemon I could use to lay down something along the lines of stealth rock/spikes. That would be Forretress, eh? Would you recommend Toxic Spikes over regular Spikes?
Also, thanks for the link to that guide! A lot of useful info on there.
If you'd like to use hazards, I recommend you getting either Forretress or Ferrothorn. I do prefer Forretress, because even if Ferrothorn resists much more in the rain, Forretress acts as a spinner as well, and with Volt Switch, it is not Taunt Bait.
And no, Toxic Spikes < Spikes and Stealth Rock, because imagine one simple switch into a Poison-type ruining your time of setting up Toxic Spikes ...
