I beat hexy <3

I remember a long time ago. I peaked at #12 at the Gen V OU ladder, but then I forgot my password and all that qq so I just left showdown for a while. Around that was the time when I was banned from the DB, too so I didn't get much motivation. Now that i'm back, I am taking a nooby approach at a Gen VI OU team. I have absolutely no idea of the Gen VI Metagame really at all. Thats why you have to halp me.

TL;DR. None of this really matters who cares gliscurr just show me the team gawd you nub.

Red Ranger (Bisharp) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Defiant
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Substitute
- Sucker Punch
- Iron Head
I really wanted to try out Bisharp's Knock Off. It get's STAB + as of Gen VI it gets boosted to 97.5 BP if the opponent has an item (pretty sure) That means all eviolite users and choice item users are going to pretty much be useless. Substitute + Sucker Punch is a great combo. The biggest problem with this set is Mega-Charizard X. I can't knock off it's item and it can set up DDance so Sucker Punch isn't an option. I could switch out but I don't really have anything to take care of it even at just +1.

Pikablue (Azumarill) (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Tail
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Superpower
While I already have 1 physical powerhouse with priority, 2 beats one. Right? Azumarill has generally good bulk which Bisharp does not. I fear Megazard X too much and I could live a +1 Earthquake. Azumarill deals with that. Anyways, you might be wondering why I have Aqua Tail over Waterfall. Aqua Tail is basically a water type Play Rough but it doesn't have a chance for attack drop. Power over accuracy. Aqua Jet is a staple to any banded Azu set because it's so slow. Superpower is nice coverage and has high base power. The attack/defense drop doesn't really matter because I would be switching out a lot anyways.

Latida (Latios) (M) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Dragon Pulse
- Surf
- Psyshock
Now that my physical side of the team is basically done, it's time for the specially based side. I wanted a dragon type on my team just because why not. With Latios's high attack + choice specs, anything that doesn't resist a Draco Meteor is probably going to die. I added Dragon Pulse just incase I didn't want to get the special attack drop. Surf is for things that resist Dragon + Psychic. I put Psyshock just so I can catch special walls off guard.

Charizard (Venusaur) @ Venusaurite
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 SAtk
Calm Nature
- Leech Seed
- Giga Drain
- Synthesis
- Toxic
I haven't had a defensive pokemon OR a mega yet, so I decided to use MegaSaur. It's Thick Fat takes care of the common fire and ice weakness while it has good bulk to take any other hit. Leech Seed + Toxic is great, it does a lot of damage after a few turns + the fact that I am using Giga Drain. Synthesis is just because I might not get the chance to set up seeds and Giga Drain is resisted by a plethora of pokemon.

Big D... fense (Deoxys-Defense) @ Red Card
Ability: Pressure
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Def
Calm Nature
- Magic Coat
- Spikes
- Recover
- Seismic Toss
About Defensive pokemon... if I am going to make a pretty much hyper offensive team, I want to be able to have entry hazards up. I put Red Card because of set up sweepers. Magic Coat is to reflect off any statuses or other hazards my opponents may have. Seismic Toss because why not?

Pew Pew Cannon (Genesect) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Download
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 Atk
Hasty Nature
- Flamethrower
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- U-turn
>WTF ARE YOU THINKING GLISCURR 3 CHOICED POKEMON ARE YOU HIGH AGAIN

Well OU is getting suspect tested for Genesect so I thought I might see how it does. I have used it in Ubers and it does good, so I don't see why it would be bad in OU. Talonflame is the most notable counter with priority brave bird. I am pretty sure that will ohko anyday.

Although, with Genesect on the team, I will have to make many predictions. There are so many pokemon that will switch out because they fear it's wide variety of coverage. Genesect has saved many lives, but sometimes it isn't powerful enough. I get a spa boosted ice beam vs a Togekiss and it only does about 60%. Same with Mandibuzz. Most of the time it does get the knock out if it's a super effective hit though. They are just bulky pokemon.

Anyways, this is just a standard Genesect set. Flamethrower > Bug Buzz because Mega Scizor gg's my team.

Yeah that's my team how do you like it
>Dude it sucks i can beat it with my magikarp

Then why don't you rate it then
> ok

This looks solid. A bit common, but solid and efficient. Gj :3
Love it. Great humor along with the post. Well done.

On Venu you may want to consider Sludge Bomb / NRG Ball > Giga Drain, since you already have Synthesis. Or run an HP Dark to deal with annoying Psychics, weird as it sounds.
HP Dark wasn't incredibly uncommon, but the Sludge attacks have actual reason to be used now , and Venu makes perfect use of it + STAB :P. The only psychic it fears are the Megas, one of which is fight anyway, or maybe Espeon.
Not bad +1  and what Josh said. I would suggest Sludge bomb or earthquake for Venus
I think you'd want to worry about a pokemon like Garchomp who with super huge mega attack bla bla bla can rip through your pokemon. Your steels may resist but they're frail and so won't last long. I'd be particularly worried about ScarfChomp. Venu should be able to tank it pretty well though iirc. Talonflame's typing also hits the team pretty hard.
Epic humor though, knew there was a legit reason I missed ya ;P
you'd better worry about megazard's flare blitz because with STAB and tough claws it has more power even though its resisted
also a megasaur without sludge bomb or HP fire is goanna have problems
lol Zard X's Flare Blitz is nowhere near as threatening as I thought it would be, since I have so much priority on my team. Azumarill can switch in to a dragon claw or +2 flare blitz and still survive while it takes recoil and kill it with aqua jet. Nuff Said.
What I meant was that flare blitz was more powerful than equake lol, I forgot to add that in
In my opinion, Thunderbolt>Dragon Pulse. Choice Specs Latios is a hit-and-run Pokemon so the Special Attack drop from Draco Meteor won't matter when you switch out. Thunderbolt is crucial to hit Fairies like Azumarill and Togekiss for Super Effective damage.
Naive>Hasty on Genesect. You need as much defense as possible to survives priority moves. Just some of my thought :3
You could probably KO Togekiss if it decides to switch in:
252 SpA Choice Specs Latios Thunderbolt vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Togekiss: 192-228 (51.4 - 61.1%) -- 95.3% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery
Here is for Azumarill:
252 SpA Choice Specs Latios Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Azumarill: 354-418 (87.6 - 103.4%) -- 25% chance to OHKO
Genesect has hasty to make sure other genesect don't get a special attack boost. I haven't had trouble surviving much physical attacks anyways surprisingly.
FYI, Genesect is banned ;)
