Alrighty, so this is my Ghost monotype team, but I'm not quite sure that my team has reached their maximum potential, so please don't hold back if you find something seriously wrong with my team. Thanks a million!!
First up is Froslass; her role is to set up spikes, taunt if the opposing ‘mon plays a similar setup role, and destiny bond when its about to be taken out. Quite common but useful, yes?
Froslass (F) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Cursed Body
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Destiny Bond
- Ice Beam
The rest are in no particular order:
Trevenant. Will-O-Wisp to cripple physical attackers, then to burn stall with Phantom force, and horn leech because it’s a great heaing stab. Rest with a chesto berry harvest because… well yeah. This setup sometime fails :/
Trevenant @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 80 SDef / 252 HP / 176 Atk
Adamant Nature
- Rest
- Horn Leech
- Will-O-Wisp
- Phantom Force
Ah Gengar. Mainly a fast special attacker that also posseses clear smog to keep Quiver Dance/Dragon Dance/all the rest in check. Quite happy with him. :D
Gengar @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 8 HP / 252 SAtk / 248 Spd
Modest Nature
- Dazzling Gleam
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Clear Smog
Doublade; a great eviolite bulk, all while still being a great attacker. Much preferred over its older brother. Shadow sneak proves to be a great revenge killer and rock slide keeps those flying fire birds in check. Sacred Sword for Cotton Guard, and Iron head for the fairies. :)
Doublade @ Eviolite
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Sacred Sword
- Iron Head
- Shadow Sneak
- Rock Slide
This spooky guy is my highest special attacker, but also pretty slow. All pretty good coverage moves, and flash fire to switch into when I fear Trevenant might get hit with a fire type move. Overall pretty happy with this guy. He could do better though.
Chandelure @ Life Orb
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 248 Spd
Modest Nature
- Energy Ball
- Flamethrower
- Shadow Ball
- Psychic
Last but not least, the bulky water/ghost type Jellicent. He proves to handle himself pretty well, but im pondering if he should have Recover instead of Sludge bomb. I chose sludge bomb over sludge wave because of a higher poison chance, to stall out with. It IS a wall after all, so wynaut?
Jellicent @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 248 SAtk / 8 SDef
Modest Nature
- Dazzling Gleam
- Sludge Bomb
- Energy Ball
- Scald
That about wraps it up! Feedback would be much appreciated! Thanks again! c:
